THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Vicky Darling,

It is time for your lie down!

VICTIM - 05 Jun 2017 09:29 - 77330 of 81564

No i got a stammer .

2517GEORGE - 05 Jun 2017 09:33 - 77331 of 81564

Fred----I can think of many words to describe Corbyn----journeyman is not one of them

Fred1new - 05 Jun 2017 09:36 - 77332 of 81564

Limited vocabulary?

jimmy b - 05 Jun 2017 09:36 - 77333 of 81564

Fred's post 77328 is the biggest load of rubbish iv'e ever read .

Fred as you are so fond of asking us to measure our life achievements against Corbyn what have you achieved compared to Theresa May ?????

2517GEORGE - 05 Jun 2017 09:40 - 77334 of 81564

I'm sorry to hear that Fred still I'm sure you cope

Fred1new - 05 Jun 2017 09:40 - 77335 of 81564

Watch out, there is a Dumbo about again!

Comparison with Mother Theresa.

I am content with what I achieved and think I smell cleaner than many.

cynic 77316

"as usual you cherry pick and take out of context to suit your bigoted views
and promote intolerance and worse"

No i take what's stated in the Quaran and i don't have to cherry pick it's all
there...

And this is how and why we are in the mess we are..with all these islamist terrorist
attacks on an increasingly regular basis..and the denials by FOOLS like yourself,
only to accuse those who can see what's happening and are not in denial..

And the only ones who are intolerant and bigoted are those liberal appeasers
like cynic and those from the religion of peace mouthpieces...

And though my views might upset liberals like yourself..At least so far i've not
stabbed, run over, blown up or stoned anyone to death..YET.

And under the banner of islam attempt to murder as many children attending
a pop concert as those representatives of the religion of peace...

jimmy b - 05 Jun 2017 09:50 - 77337 of 81564

Poor old Fred still thick as two planks.

cynic - 05 Jun 2017 09:50 - 77338 of 81564

as i wrote in 773014, which you patently do not like and therefore ignore .......

i'ld guess "surrender to the will of God" but in any case, i would question your interpretation of the meaning of the word "islam" for it is actually derived from the word meaning “peace” in Arabic

the following will suffice as an example and counter to the hatred and intolerance you would promote from your corner ..... there are plenty of others

“We have appointed a law and a practice for every one of you. Had God willed, He would have made you a single community, but He wanted to test you regarding what has come to you. So compete with each other in doing good. Every one of you will return to God and He will inform you regarding the things about which you differed.” (Surat al-Ma’ida, 48)

and again ...

“There is no compulsion where the religion is concerned.” (Holy Quran: 2/ 256)

cynic - 05 Jun 2017 09:56 - 77339 of 81564

fred - you write "If an Imam or other is transgressing the laws of the country, prosecute them, judge them and penalise them if found guilty"

except for two points
1) ECHR has regularly interfered and prevented deportation
2) in times of peril, it is common for specific laws to be tweaked to meet the circumstances of the time

while your thought that "i like to keep my friends close but my enemies closer" has some validity, in these particular circumstances, i (and it would seem many others who think), it is better to rid the country of the virulent cancer these people spread

a good many would say to execute them, but for reasons in which i can also see the illogicality, i would find it difficult to condone this

2517GEORGE - 05 Jun 2017 10:50 - 77340 of 81564

Corbyn does a U turn on shoot to kill policy, Fred must have missed this as he always points out U turns

Is he learning to play to the audience .

Laurenrose - 05 Jun 2017 10:57 - 77343 of 81564

vote may

Fred1new - 05 Jun 2017 11:13 - 77344 of 81564

George,

You read too much fiction.

I am surprised Dumbo and Vicky can read and write.

Their problem seemingly, is understanding what they read and hear.

cynic - 05 Jun 2017 11:16 - 77345 of 81564

rather an aside ......
according to IG election betting, tories are recovering a little lost ground

i didn't hear TM yesterday, but beloved says she spoke very well indeed ..... she sure needs to get something right in this campaign!

VICTIM - 05 Jun 2017 11:29 - 77346 of 81564

You're a repetitive boring old bluffer full of your own self importance who with his refusal to vote tells me can't hack backing the wrong party , giving you license to moan groan and refer back to periods in past times that are now irrelevant to the modern world , anti English anti anyone with common sense I see you as a cowardly person who slips up and gives us a taste of a true knob .

2517GEORGE - 05 Jun 2017 11:32 - 77347 of 81564

So was that not Corbyn I saw and heard this morning saying that the police must use whatever force is necessary to keep the public safe?

Of course this flies in the face of what he really thinks, but there are votes to be had on Thursday.

2517GEORGE - 05 Jun 2017 11:36 - 77348 of 81564

As for reading too much fiction, you are absolutely correct, so in order to put that right I will read fewer of your posts.
