THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

"i know i am, but i'm afraid you're too old to take as a lover :-)"

You don't know what you are missing!

David10brook -

Wellcome.

Try to keep out of trouble.

Fred1new - 09 Jun 2017 21:23 - 77633 of 81564

Exec.

We have a clever devious buffoon as a president why not a stupid one as leader of the tory party.

Between them, they should be able to start a war and profit from it.

MaxK - 09 Jun 2017 21:23 - 77634 of 81564

I suspect he does know what he's missing.

Where is Haystack with a report from the bunker?

David10brook - 09 Jun 2017 22:11 - 77636 of 81564

Hi Fred and Chris.......trouble is a word I really don't like.

Solutions is by far a more agreeable word.

Chris Carson - 09 Jun 2017 22:23 - 77637 of 81564

Hi David, Well short of garrotting Fred I'm sure we can come up with something :0)

VICTIM - 10 Jun 2017 07:17 - 77638 of 81564

Yes Max where is Hays ; since Treesa got elected he sort of slinked off , i wonder if he wasn't a fan and saw something . Although he can be bitterly one sided . iturama has been quiet like to know what he thinks too , though i suspect he may speechless .

VICTIM - 10 Jun 2017 08:14 - 77639 of 81564

I'm still amazed how someone who lost an election can ask a PM to resign , and form a minority government on it's own , and by the way Ruth Davidson is a Remainer and may want to squash Brexit .

Fred1new - 10 Jun 2017 08:27 - 77640 of 81564

David,

You are on the wrong thread.

;-)

I never thought I would say it.

I am warming to Ruth Davidson,

Whoever takes over from TM will have a very difficult job navigating through the Brexit negotiations, talk is that she has 12 months or so, but that means a change midway through Brexit talks which doesn't seem ideal. FWIW I think Jacob Rees-Mogg would make a very good leader.
