Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Whoever takes over from TM will have a very difficult job navigating through the Brexit negotiations, talk is that she has 12 months or so, but that means a change midway through Brexit talks which doesn't seem ideal. FWIW I think Jacob Rees-Mogg would make a very good leader.

For what it's worth, I also think Jacob Rees Mogg would make an excellent leader.
I love to watch him in action and also to hear him speak about things. He has an excellent brain, being Eton educated, and is a very clever guy, he cuts straight to the essence and deals only with the reality of any situation. IMHO, you cannot help but like him and easily warm to him. He has a non-threatening and very 'gentle' appearance.
Jacob Rees-Mogg
In February 2012 Rees-Mogg made the record books with the use of
floccinaucinihilipilification—an Eton college neologism meaning "the habit of considering as worthless"—in the House of Commons which became the longest word in Hansard.

Well...it's back to coalition days again it seems....ftse shooting up...pound down....I can't get a thing right these days as far as guessing the outcome.....but brexit should be alright....my only concern is that the negotiations look like they are going to be done by remainers rather than leavers....

Rees Mogg might be a decent intelligent chap, but he wouldn't go down well
all around the country due to his polished accent....But why should i care,
not being a tory voter.
And now with this failed selfish election result by May(be), the UK's brexit
negotiating position is severely weakened, and has handed those gangsters
in Brussels a trump hand..That's even if it goes ahead and a way is found by
those europhiliacs who want to remain in the single market..

Time will tell how we deal with this mess or perhaps better put.....the fullness of time will reveal all.

now you have all had your little rants, it's worth contemplating what complexion brexit will now have
i don't think "hard brexit" was actually on the table as interpeted, but was just an opening stance ....... unless your corbyn, why on earth would you say you were going to be a pussy cat?
will TM be there to see the whole thing through?
imo, probably as while she may be "mortally wounded" as some papers have it, there is no one who comes immediately to mind to take her place ...... i agree JR-M is a great guy, but he really is not the one to lead the country any more than is BJ
furthermore, leadership contests will distract everyone and make brexit discussions to that point of questionable value

I've just seen it said that if you don't expect to win you can promise the Earth , well that's exactly what's happened here , people already forget that . That's what caused this , both sides got it wrong .
