THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

TM's two close advisers, Nick Timothy and Fiona Hill, have now gone.

I guess she only has the cabinet to talk to now. This is GOOD!

Fred1new - 10 Jun 2017 18:54 - 77657 of 81564

I wonder if she will sack them all for her own mistake?

cynic - 10 Jun 2017 20:17 - 77658 of 81564

now you have all had your little rants, it's worth contemplating what complexion brexit will now have
i don't think "hard brexit" was actually on the table as interpeted, but was just an opening stance ....... unless your corbyn, why on earth would you say you were going to be a pussy cat?

will TM be there to see the whole thing through?

imo, probably as while she may be "mortally wounded" as some papers have it, there is no one who comes immediately to mind to take her place ...... i agree JR-M is a great guy, but he really is not the one to lead the country any more than is BJ
furthermore, leadership contests will distract everyone and make brexit discussions to that point of questionable value

Good old beeb asking people why they voted Labour , but not a mention of where the money comes from to pay for their dreams .

Fred1new - 11 Jun 2017 08:15 - 77660 of 81564

Vicky,

You have deep pockets or a large handbag.

I sure you will help out.

VICTIM - 11 Jun 2017 08:24 - 77661 of 81564

I'm not trained in mental heath .

MaxK - 11 Jun 2017 08:32 - 77662 of 81564

It's called Corby's magic money tree V. Everything free.

What's not to like?

VICTIM - 11 Jun 2017 08:45 - 77663 of 81564

I've just seen it said that if you don't expect to win you can promise the Earth , well that's exactly what's happened here , people already forget that . That's what caused this , both sides got it wrong .

Fred1new - 11 Jun 2017 09:13 - 77664 of 81564

Just viewing the Andrew Marr Show

According to George Osborne Theresa May is a dead woman walking!

Good to have friends in high places.

PS.

I would love to see JRM as leader of the con party.

It would be a fitting end to both of them.

VICTIM - 11 Jun 2017 09:20 - 77665 of 81564

Doesn't take a genius to work that out does it , just when does she go . So Osborne your mate now i suppose the man you ridiculed extensively .

Fred1new - 11 Jun 2017 09:27 - 77666 of 81564

Vicky,

Have a lie-down.

I think you are becoming delusionary.

VICTIM - 11 Jun 2017 09:33 - 77667 of 81564

It's good to see you recognize delusion , does that come from experience then . I love ping pong .

grannyboy - 11 Jun 2017 09:41 - 77668 of 81564

Jeremy Corbyn says he is ready to lead the country with the backing of
the SNP, LibDem, Greens, C.C, Monster Raving Loony Party, and imans
from the Finsbury Park mosques..

With the financial backing of red Ken McCluskey..

VICTIM - 11 Jun 2017 09:41 - 77669 of 81564

Anyway looks like Boris , some hate and some have affection for him , would it be a third own goal for Cons .

MaxK - 11 Jun 2017 09:48 - 77670 of 81564

The great white is circling...

VICTIM - 11 Jun 2017 09:51 - 77671 of 81564

The newspapers would love Boris so much to go on .

Dil - 11 Jun 2017 09:55 - 77673 of 81564

Well I can't see how May can continue and the best time for a new leader to be elected would be during the summer recess imo.

VICTIM - 11 Jun 2017 09:57 - 77674 of 81564

Philip Hammond as interesting as wallpapering .

MaxK - 11 Jun 2017 10:06 - 77675 of 81564

Hammond is a remainiac, as is Rudd...not acceptable imo.
