Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Haystack says to tell stan the parrot...Don't call him..he'll call you, but not to hold his breath...
And what we want from Brexit, is just that...Out of the single market, control of our borders..etc..etc..
As to Gibraltar who gives a gnats turd...

fred writes, "I will be surprised in 4 years time if dealings, rules, and regulations will be changed that much"
i recollect that is along the lines of what i wrote many moons ago, but my memory may be faulty
certainly in recent months, the brussels plutocrats have changed their stance about freedom of movement, which has always been a cornerstone
for my part, i'ld most definitely like to see uk being able to control its borders and benefits system much better, and also to be able to to regard ECHR rulings merely as opinion - ie so convicted terrorists and dangerous fundamentalists and similar can indeed be deported by uk courts
trade deals are for mutual benefit, and i don't think either side will wish to throw the baby out with the bathwater
how this can and will be achieved is not for me to worry about

Dumbo,
Like May sucking up to the Paisleylites and DUP. (Check previous histories of violence.)
Smiling and shaking hands with McGuiness recently.

Vicky,
I thought we were moving to a presidential form of government and sovereignty was just a rubber stamp,
How many generation of foreign criminals do you want to "kick out". Be careful there are Manuels and Boriss about.
Troops or barbed wire on the border. Flashing guns and 5mile queues to cross borders and indelible stamps on your wrists.
Universities are already having difficulties filling their courses next year as students prefer EU universities because of their threaten future.
Ignore international law when wanting to trade internationally. No rules no regulations. Send a gun boat when there are problems.

I have come to the conclusion Freda that you are basically " Impossible " to deal with in any way , you bang on like a latter day shop steward or Red Ken . When you post intellectual type stuff I do wonder if your misses writes it for you , and the other stuff is the real you . Anyway not being intellectual in any way it makes me glad I'm not , listening to you frothing away relentlessly . Get a reality grip will you .

Vicky,
Thanks for the vote of confidence you seem to be like many loyal con party members.

But as a present, I thought you and Manuel would like a peep at one of your "present" icons.
It is not May day celebrations for her!
What is she biting into?

that is indeed very good to see and let's hope that it expands into the future, rather as the press for peace in northern ireland eventually did

David Davis I think would be a sensible candidate for tory leader. Interesting background and career.
Hammond if he had a bit more "charisma" would also be sensible.
Both consider what they are going to say before they open their mouths.

The guy who appeals to me in Labour is Barry Gardiner. Very shrewd thoughtful guy.
But I wonder if Vince Cable will replace T Farron as a "temporary" lLib/Dem leader. Shrewd sensible and honest. (I think.)
We will see.

i can't determine how hard/far left barry gardiner is
he certainly supported corbyn in the vote to kick him out, but that is not condemnatory in itself
fred - please enlighten
==========
BG's cv on wiki makes interesting reading and he's certainly an intelligent guy who has even been in the real world of business (as well as public school)
however, even wiki does not clarify how far left he leans
