Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

MaxK - 05 Oct 2017 19:32 - 7778 of 12628

Looks like we are a €uropean dumping ground.

Fred1new - 05 Oct 2017 20:45 - 7779 of 12628

That is what we may end up as!

Martini - 05 Oct 2017 21:53 - 7780 of 12628

Back to to avoiding difficult questions and trying to find glib one liners. Pathetic Fred.

VICTIM - 06 Oct 2017 08:13 - 7781 of 12628

It would be interesting to see where things stand at this time within the EU , as Merkel has lost some clout in Germany apparently , she's a bit like May she needs the assistance of other parties now , so maybe she can't throw the EU money around like once , we all know Germany is the boss in the EU , maybe she will have her work cut out keeping home happy .

Stan - 06 Oct 2017 08:25 - 7782 of 12628

Never mind the ifs, buts and maybes IMHO... just get the "informed'' Referendum date set.

VICTIM - 06 Oct 2017 08:36 - 7783 of 12628

After all we have read above about re applying , it seems Stan you want to go cap in hand to Brussels and beg for re entry which would be a catastrophe really .

Stan - 06 Oct 2017 08:43 - 7784 of 12628

Suggest reading post 7782 and take your thinking a bit further V.

VICTIM - 06 Oct 2017 08:50 - 7785 of 12628

I think you haven't read through .

jimmy b - 06 Oct 2017 10:25 - 7786 of 12628

Silly Stanley .

Dil - 06 Oct 2017 14:46 - 7788 of 12628

Stan , I was informed that if I voted out in the Brexit referendum that we old leave the EU and the single market etc. If I voted remain then nothing would change.

That was informed enough for me.

Seems to me it's only the remoaners who didn't get it.

cynic - 06 Oct 2017 15:01 - 7789 of 12628

if Catalonia secedes from Spain, what would be the effect on the EU structure?

jimmy b - 06 Oct 2017 15:06 - 7790 of 12628

UK leaving is the start of the end of the EU .

Stan - 06 Oct 2017 15:21 - 7791 of 12628

Dil, You were informed enough it seems but I'm talking about the many "millions" who certainly were not informed before the referendum.

All are better informed now after the referendum then they were before.. so roll on the now "informed" referendum.

VICTIM - 06 Oct 2017 15:49 - 7792 of 12628

Informed referendum , we had the government with all their sudden friends , " Blair " a load of luvvies endless TV progs totally biased for remain , pamphlets that cost us as taxpayers , and you talk of an informed referendum , the next vote is to agree to the terms worked out between the two sides , whether that goes to the country i don't know , but if you think we will revisit an In or Out vote i think you are wrong . Triggering article 50 surely was the we are out bit , this stuff now decides the terms . Do you know these " milions " then stan .

VICTIM - 06 Oct 2017 15:51 - 7793 of 12628

Of course there was the rest of the World as well , headed by Obahhha Ma . and you say we weren't informed .

Fred1new - 06 Oct 2017 16:16 - 7794 of 12628

Dil,

The "remainers" did get it.

They asked the question get exactly "WHAT" and saw that they were being both lied to and by not being presented with any plan for the aftermath of the referendum.
That is they were conned by glibness of the Farages and johnsons.

They also saw it was an attempt by Cameron, who couldn't imagine loosing, to hold his bunch of tory elitist crooks together. (I.e those who know they know what is best for "everybody", which often means themselves.)

He was too conceited to realise that he may lose the referendum and couldn'T face up to the mess he had made.

Arranging terms of the separation seems like a prisoner negotiating with a hangman where to put the noose.

Stan - 06 Oct 2017 16:20 - 7795 of 12628

After those two posts V I must assume that you are also suffering from senility and or dementia.

VICTIM - 06 Oct 2017 16:21 - 7796 of 12628

For conning see Labour leader Corblimey , how many millions were conned into voting for him .

VICTIM - 06 Oct 2017 16:23 - 7797 of 12628

Well i think i'm a bit nearer than you stan . ROFL .
