What I find a bit of a surprise is that there was no RNS that I saw informing us that ONGC had requested an extension of time, just one to say that an extension would not be granted. I have kept a very close watch on various websites for info, but maybe I missed it.

There was a hint on Google Finance but I only found that after the event!

So the takeover has been abandoned. Expect IEC to tumble from now.

Still going ahead as far as I know, documents to be posted tomorrow?
