The main activity of Biofuels is the large scale production and exploitation of biodiesel and glycerine following the construction and commissioning of the initial plant.
Biodiesel is produced from vegetable oils and, as an environmentally friendly product, can make a significant contribution towards reducing green house gases and meeting Kyoto targets.

Excellent news! ...time to get into BFC now.
UK smallcap opening - Biofuels up on confirmation that timetable is on track
AFX
LONDON (AFX) - Biofuels Corporation climbed 8-1/2 pence to 134 following confirmation that the timetable set out in Dec 2005 for the commencement of production of biodiesel by the end of February 2006 remains on track.
Biofuels confirmed that the commodity, foreign exchange and interest rate hedges referred to in the Dec 2 2005 announcement have been closed at the facility limit of 37.9 mln.
This means that the total facilities available to the company are 92.9 mln stg, all on an on-demand basis and sufficient to see the company through to full production.

Hi Jimmy,
I'm pretty p*ssed off about it myself, if I'd have held i'd be in profit now instead of having a huge loss, and if I'd added I could be on a big profit, but I'm not sure I could have taken the stress and worry for two months. We did what seemed appropriate at the time - it could have gone the other way and shareholders would be left with nothing, that was always a real possibility, don't forget that. If they'd have kept us properly informed right from the start, things might have been different, and the share price might not have been so volatile.
The lesson I've learned is don't hold shares in companys where you are not happy with the management - if I'd sold the moment I started distrusting them, I would have got out with a sizeable profit. Instead I kept thinking how could they possibly balls up something that was a sure fire winner, even if I don't trust them.
You live and learn....

The second lesson I learned - don't go to heavily into any one share how ever good you believe the prospects to be!

No jimmy, I haven't got any spare cash, but even if I did, I still don't trust them! Maybe once the plant is finally finished they might be worth a long term punt, although I'm not happy about the amount of debt they've got. it's probably best if I don't bother - they'd only leave a bad taste in my mouth!

Simon, Well done for buying back into them. I couldn't face it myself, you never know when they might drop a bomb shell and it goes all the way back down again!

No, I have not heard of anything on the grapevine yet, still a big gamble if they fail to open their plant.
