Sadaam was still making trouble and I believe it was only about George W Bush 'finishing his father's job off'.

George Bush Senior should have finished off Sadaam when Desert Storm happened after the Iraq invasion of Kuwait in 2001. But he didn't and his regret about not doing it was so big, he got his son to do it.

In any event, for both military options, there was still never any 'after the war' plan.

I certainly do NOT believe it was about 'Oil'. That would have meant 'to the winner goes the spoils of war'. The winner being the UK and the USA (and a few others as well). It would have been relatively easy to do this but the ME was well know to be a potential hot bed and 'the west' being seen to be taking taking Iraq's oil after waging war on it, would have made it even hotter. So we never got to knick Iraq's oil because it simply could not have been on the cards to start with.

GRENFELL TOWERBLOCK , how many known tenants are missing , the question is that those that have made a killing out of sub letting have not come forward some do not and have not lived in the flats for many years , why should they not be charged with their crime , by not coming forward is a criminal act ,

a lot of people taken to court jailed for owing council tax
to let these sub letters off is a criminal act

Try proving who they were if they have not come forward Laurenrose - Maybe some in the council that knew who was doing what, and not taking action, should be the ones that are charged. However the whole system is corrupt, from the police - the lawyers and judges, right up to the very top being those around the Queen that govern us all.

Lawyers should not be Judges - that is the only way to start cleaning the whole thing up.

Yes Judges should have legal qualifications but it should be a separate profession. There also should be no "Privileged Material" when it comes to justice - Lawyers use this with the agreement of Judges, to play games rather than reach the truth and serve justice.

That is why the wealthy and criminal get off with most crimes they commit, including bankers and those that play games with investors/pensions funds etc. etc.

fact if you phone the council about benefit fraud they want you to give out all their details and fill in all the forms , they will not get out of their seats and take action
