I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

Hi TSQ, just caught me before I have a nap.
The bigger announcements I am expecting are at the turn of the year are on the TDI products. These will start to come through as they break into America. What you are seeing at the moment is the company moving onto the next platform. Fundrasing first, ProphetX contracts, and then they will breaking into America. That has been the goal of the company for a long time and now it is about to become a reality. This could mean huge revenues coming in and by the time the results are announced in Spring next year I expect their products to be at an even stronger end of the market. By Spring I have predicted the price to be at 1.00. This is solely based on the TDI announcements I hope will come fruit but as we got into the new year it should become more clearer.
What you need to look at it the licences are coming through thick and fast now for ProphetX. It's been a slow process for all this time but it is happening for the company now. I would now expect the contracts/licences all to come thick and fast in the future.
I don't really want to compare with other companies but Gresham had enormous price rises on the back of their breakthrough!
GoodNight.
Sue.

Sue, have to say that even another deal announcement like today doesn't make much of an impact to turnover or EBIT. So don't get too carried away, I hope your predictions are correct but these deals are just normal transactions to support salaries and other costs of running a business. If anything, reporting them with fanfare only serves to arouse suspicion that the management team is stretching it's good fortune over the last couple of months a little too far.

thestatusquo & happytowatch.....guys if you don't understand what is really driving CWV by now...may I suggest you have not done your own research and really should go back to the playground....
SueHelen has done an excellent job in keeping people on this board appraised of her own research into the company and the market reaction over the past few weeks...including her own observations and analysis of what has been said elsewhere....which I have already suggested to allstar4eve should be taken as a complement and applauded for initiative...not berated in a self centred way....
If anyone has serious doubts about the future viability of CWV I would invite you to air your views on a somewhat more vocal and aggressive board on a d v f n .....I have found this board on moneyam to be of a more discerning nature...and I would challenge any derampers to come and have the discussion elsewhere anytime....as I do not have the time to occupy two boards all day....
Well done SueHelen...keep up the good work...and enjoy your profits !!

thestatus......A little suprised, you seem to have a problem either reading, and reseaching the invo or in the interpretation of it. If you would like further help come across onto the ADVFN board where you will find me, and others giving detailed evaluations through out the day.

As i said last week. uncertainty. Placing price is likely to be around 10p imho. And thats where the price is heading. If you operate a stop loss, which every investor should. you would have been out, with a profit and looking to get back in. The initial frenzy is behind us,Volume is weaking which indicates new buyers are waiting to see the placing price. The placing price may be known and price drifting to it.If a price has not been set then the lower it goes the more difficult it will be getting the placing away at a 2 digit price. Instititions will want a discount. imho placing price is known (leaked)

SueHelen,
Thanks for your reply. I have no grudge against you whatsoever as I believe that you are generally doing a very good job. I also apologise if the tone of my post seemed harsh. It is good that you take the time to spread the word and keep spirits up on CWV!
All the best

game_boy - We would all be delighted to hear your views/analysis on the material impact each ProphetX contract won has on the profitability of this company? Is it really that difficult to work out that we have to return back to school for a math lesson? Here are my workings:
EBIT = ( #seats * 200 GBP * 12 months * margin ) - COS
COS = one off sales effort + costs to support service + training
Have ignored any asset depreciation and other balancesheet stuff to keep it all simple although it is a re-sell of someone elses service so shouldn't affect the numbers.
Now, with the above in mind if you wish to critique please do so.

All trades show delays. 13-14 so lots of sells. Still, will be a rebound soon. For those who bought at higher prices there's not point of selling. Wait and see. Good things comes to those who wait. Thanks

happy to watch,
Is it a flaw in your calculation? Or maybe I understand your intention wrongly, then appology
IMO like in every other SW package, support service + training belong not to "cost", in fact they are source of revenue.
In the comp. where I work for example there is equipment with the initial cost of less then 125K, over 10 years the total cost is actually near the 2mil, due to 12% support service each year, additional SW\feature upgrade (sure you can refuse and stay with the very standard, time consuming features), and training hundert of engineer have been through (sure you can do the training yourself, and stop recruiting, but who want to work there!), you can of course refuse to upgrade in house and use external service, problem is it cost around 350/h, and at the end of the day 8*350 you often still can not solve the the problem 100%, money gone and SW+system still not belong to you. as with technology you have to go ahead with upgrading, adding new features and I don't think any one can refuse if the upgradding and extra cost bring 10x more profit at the end.
Same we can see with sage product. How much does it cost initially for sage standard, 2k, or 5K, no 200 and less, you can have for free; and what costs the sage2000? not more then 5K. BUT, again the maintance, service, working on extra features (script\problem solving) and training bring the extra revenue, Same as SAP initially element cost less then 500K, but where do these "ridicoulous cheap" products bring SAGE and SAP, SDL, MiCROSOF to, and please remember comp. which use those product still save hundert of thousands in accounting, logistic, and make millions so the extra cost doesn't hurt at all.
Please correct me if I am wrong

13.50 Now
A couple of weeks ago I suggested holders should sell at 11p.
I WAS WRONG and said so on this thread.
..........................
I request SueHelen apologize for her prediction of 30p.
I also suggest she explains her rationale for 50p price

HYPE : I agree we make our own decisions but
newcomers to the stockmarket can be influenced by these predictions.

I bought in at the top end as a new user to shares after reading the postings on here. I DON'T blame Sue as I think she had been generally right. I also think it's hard to predict when the company's going to make any announcements on the launch of not ProphetX but TDI for which the fundraisng is taking place

Have my buy orders set for a reversal. As imo the next low set, will be the bottom and the uptrend to continue. However my target for year end is a more conservative 20p provided we receive some news on funding / contacts. One extra contract i beleive is already discounted.

I think share can rise or drop. If share rise, every ppl will happy. But share drop everyone blame.
I won`t blame sue, conversly support sue. she did lots of works in CMS. when it rise everyone say thank you to her, but if it drop eveyone blame her. Do you think it is fair? I really don`t think so. Share has it only risk. If you can`t take the risk or loss, I will say you better put you money in your pocket. I hope sue will continue give us information abbout the share. and thanks sue
