Biofuels Corporation. (BFC)

wilbs - 07 Jul 2004 19:47

The main activity of Biofuels is the large scale production and exploitation of biodiesel and glycerine following the construction and commissioning of the initial plant.

Biodiesel is produced from vegetable oils and, as an environmentally friendly product, can make a significant contribution towards reducing green house gases and meeting Kyoto targets.

The second lesson I learned - don't go to heavily into any one share how ever good you believe the prospects to be!

jimmy b - 02 Feb 2006 13:27 - 785 of 1184

Have you been tempted to buy back in short term ??

Frampton - 02 Feb 2006 13:49 - 786 of 1184

No jimmy, I haven't got any spare cash, but even if I did, I still don't trust them! Maybe once the plant is finally finished they might be worth a long term punt, although I'm not happy about the amount of debt they've got. it's probably best if I don't bother - they'd only leave a bad taste in my mouth!

hlyeo98 - 02 Feb 2006 13:54 - 787 of 1184

it is time to get back in now since the prospects are good as Bush gave the speech yesterday that we should look into alternative fuels

ellio - 02 Feb 2006 14:35 - 788 of 1184

Buy MNE, real upside long term, tech with real solid established company's eg veritas wind turbines! have a look

hlyeo98 - 06 Feb 2006 14:15 - 789 of 1184

tonewood - 08 Feb 2006 09:03 - 790 of 1184

Rocketfuels. We've had lift off, looks like we are now cruising into the stratosphere.

simonpaynton - 08 Feb 2006 11:31 - 791 of 1184

I picked up a small few at 137p, rather please I did. Be nice if this settles down a tad though (I like up, dont get me wrong, but i would like to keep my profits this time)

Frampton - 08 Feb 2006 15:42 - 792 of 1184

Simon, Well done for buying back into them. I couldn't face it myself, you never know when they might drop a bomb shell and it goes all the way back down again!

simonpaynton - 09 Feb 2006 08:48 - 793 of 1184

That is my fear...

Hell of a ride though...

Tonker - 17 Feb 2006 15:10 - 794 of 1184

hlyeo98 - 17 Feb 2006 18:23 - 795 of 1184

I think BFC will shoot like a rocket next week

jimmy b - 17 Feb 2006 21:28 - 796 of 1184

Hope you get news that the plant is ready to roll before the end of Feb ,if you do the sp will rocket ,if there is another delay ,your in trouble ..This is still a 50/50 gamble.

Tonker - 18 Feb 2006 14:30 - 797 of 1184

jimmy b, think the plant will be ready by end of feb.... Only because the directors have bought a lot of shares... do you think this is a good indication?

hlyeo98 - 19 Feb 2006 13:13 - 798 of 1184

No, I have not heard of anything on the grapevine yet, still a big gamble if they fail to open their plant.
