Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Martini - 12 Oct 2017 11:53 - 7842 of 12628

Only reason I am "cracking on" is because you have never explained your vision or how you will achieve it. Please explain the Compromise informed referendum.

I know what I want and how to achieve it. Pull the plug on negotiations and walk away.

Claret Dragon - 12 Oct 2017 11:59 - 7843 of 12628

I still believe that 52 to 48 was not a true reflection. Stopped counting around 3.00am that glorious night when it got messy

9 out of 10 of like minded Patriots in my inner circle voted out.

cynic - 12 Oct 2017 12:07 - 7844 of 12628

voting one way or the other did not make you a patriot ...... very jingoistic

Fred1new - 12 Oct 2017 12:14 - 7845 of 12628

It,

Will you explain P7841 again?

I need a little loosener.

Fred1new - 12 Oct 2017 12:24 - 7846 of 12628

Martini,

You probably have deep pockets and can afford "walking away" without discomfort, however, the consequences for those with less disposable income may be catastrophic.

Keep an eye on "Cost of food in the United Kingdom increased 2.10 percent in August of 2017 over the same period

Martini - 12 Oct 2017 12:36 - 7847 of 12628

Fred ok got that. Now explain your vision and how you will achieve it?

Fred1new - 12 Oct 2017 13:04 - 7848 of 12628

No.

It is a middle game and the cons have chosen the wrong opening.

You tell me how your cohorts are going to play it and what they are going to win.

VICTIM - 12 Oct 2017 13:19 - 7849 of 12628

Looks like Martini as im on the ropes , looks like a full nelson on the cards , Freda responds with typical airy fairy ness and looks for his tag partner who's off gesticulating to the crowd ( cause that's wot e does best , all frills sort of bloke ) Martini close to a full submission , but alas Freda probably avoid and change subject .

VICTIM - 12 Oct 2017 13:22 - 7850 of 12628

Martini responds to crowd with " I was shaken but not stirred " .

jimmy b - 12 Oct 2017 13:31 - 7851 of 12628

As Fred just said NO ! ,he will not explain anything .

As for Stan , stop being Fred's Geisha Girl .

cynic - 12 Oct 2017 14:00 - 7852 of 12628

stan does not have the requisite social skills for that

iturama - 12 Oct 2017 14:17 - 7853 of 12628

I wouldn't say that. Beats anyone on that Come Dancing lark.

hilary - 12 Oct 2017 16:32 - 7854 of 12628

I'd like to play poker with Keir Starmer.

ExecLine - 12 Oct 2017 17:54 - 7855 of 12628

Hils

Any particular reason? He looks as though he could be an excellent player.

Surely, it's mug punters with lots of spare cash to lose, that you would want across the other side of the table?

hilary - 12 Oct 2017 18:08 - 7856 of 12628

Because he's got an ugly poker face, Doc. Good poker players don't reveal their hand in the manner Starmer did today with his 'open' letter.

He may be a lawyer, but he's certainly no Harvey Specter!

Fred1new - 12 Oct 2017 18:08 - 7857 of 12628

Hils,

Be careful who you play with.

8-)

hilary - 12 Oct 2017 18:16 - 7858 of 12628

I know when to hold 'em, and know when to fold 'em, Fred. :o)

Fred1new - 12 Oct 2017 19:12 - 7859 of 12628

I think I felt that!

Fred1new - 13 Oct 2017 08:56 - 7860 of 12628

Dil,

If you hurry you can get a season ticket on this bus!

Dil - 13 Oct 2017 11:14 - 7861 of 12628

Labour do a fine job of fecking the NHS up in Wales already Fred.
