Another excellent Business Wire release from HQ :)
This bit .... "Stanelco is currently in discussion with a number of multi-national organizations to discuss the supply and usage of considerable quantities in the United States and worldwide," .... I know of one company, because it was the idea of A.N.Other shareholder to offer them TPS, and we are talking a massive volume of TPS, if they go for it, which I think they will.
And this bit .... "It will be a matter of weeks before we are in large scale production, as the material has performed so well on existing equipment during recent trials." .... so the trials of trays and film are going so well, they are going to ramp up production.
The more they produce, the cheaper it becomes, and therefore the more customers they get for it.
As for .... "The biodegradable granulate can also be used in blown-film applications." .... if your wondering, look at this ....
http://www.bpf.co.uk/bpfindustry/process_plastics_blown_film .cfm
Typical applications include Industry packaging (e.g. shrink film, stretch film, bag film or container liners), Consumer packaging (e.g. packaging film for frozen products, shrink film for transport packaging, food wrap film, packaging bags, or form, fill and seal packaging film), Laminating film (e.g. laminating of aluminium or paper used for packaging for example milk or coffee), Barrier film (e.g. film made of raw materials such as polyamides and EVOH acting as an aroma or oxygen barrier used for packaging food, e. g. cold meats and cheese), films for the packaging of medical products, Agricultural film (e.g. greenhouse film, crop forcing film, silage film, silage stretch film).
.... one of those applications, is the one suggested by A.N.Other shareholder :)
Cheers,
