THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Kid,

Smart investor is a bloody nightmare to set up if you have a number of accounts.

I feel like changing ISA and SIPP provider.

I see your still senile Fred ,do you have to post 10 times ?.

Yes Barclays new site is a complete nightmare ,probably need a 12 year old to navigate it rather than me.

I shall be moving from their share dealing platform .

Stan - 31 Aug 2017 20:46 - 78901 of 81564

If anyones senile around here it must be you as Fred's posted four times from my reckoning, good news that you are leaving us at Barclays though.. byeee.

VICTIM - 01 Sep 2017 07:28 - 78902 of 81564

See what you mean jimmy .

Fred1new - 01 Sep 2017 08:10 - 78903 of 81564

Dumbo,

I am aware that I am deteriorating, but realise when I read Vicky's and your posts how far I still have to go.

VICTIM - 01 Sep 2017 08:24 - 78904 of 81564

I didn't think you were deteriorating Freda , I thought you were always like this .

jimmy b - 01 Sep 2017 08:53 - 78905 of 81564

Just press the button once Fred :)

No need for insults

ExecLine - 01 Sep 2017 11:04 - 78906 of 81564

As you have continually done 'multi-posts' for years now, Fred, then it's time you used some of your skill's to find out 'what is causing it' and then put an end to it.

Is that a far too complicated a thing for you to do?

(ie. How to tell if you're a fool? Keep repeating your mistakes)

Fred1new - 01 Sep 2017 11:19 - 78907 of 81564

Exec.

Once again you seem to be posting from your personal experience!

Fred1new - 01 Sep 2017 11:28 - 78908 of 81564

Exec,

Here is your dream girl.

Hope it is not a repetitive dream.

ExecLine - 01 Sep 2017 11:37 - 78909 of 81564

You, Fred, are diversionary tactics cheat.

The only topic in hand between you and me at the moment, is your continual multi-posting, with a levered attempt by me to try and get you to recognise you are doing something 'wrong' and to push you into doing something about it.

Whilst typing I would like to say, that there is only one way to have a relationship with someone who doesn't stay on topic, but continually diverts away from it, and it is this:

"Dump them"

Fred1new - 01 Sep 2017 12:01 - 78910 of 81564

The causes of repeat postings have been multiple.

Some addressed by the change of key board, another by a small app and others beyond my ken, but probably due to IP delay and my impatience.

Again be careful that don't you fall off your high horse you often seem to mount.

If my "mistakes" annoy, so be it, but try the squelch button on yourself or me.

I have no objectio1ns.

8-!

PS,

I have enjoyed many of the mistakes I have made.

VICTIM - 01 Sep 2017 12:04 - 78911 of 81564

Who's ken then .

ExecLine - 01 Sep 2017 12:58 - 78912 of 81564

Not entirely appropriate, I know....

VICTIM - 01 Sep 2017 12:59 - 78913 of 81564

Not sure if people interested but the FCA are spending £49 million yes million on advertising the PPI countdown to 2019 when it stops , anyway they are using Arnold Swarzthing in an advert currently showing , i think a two year old could have done better personally , but there you go .

ExecLine - 01 Sep 2017 13:01 - 78914 of 81564

i read the Arnie thing is just to boost up the costs and the penalties with them.

And why not?

strange but true

Kenya presidential election cancelled by Supreme Court

Kenya's Supreme Court has annulled the result of last month's presidential election, citing irregularities, and ordered a new one within 60 days.

The ruling makes Kenya the first African country where an opposition court challenge against presidential poll results has been successful.

The election commission had declared incumbent Uhuru Kenyatta the winner by a margin of 1.4 million votes.

But the opposition said voting systems had been hacked, causing massive fraud.
