How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

sorry didnt see your post earlier, the one click solution is via using a software interface to place your bets. Most on here use Betangel, details are in the header

Thanks, does Betangel interface with Betfair games poker? I used Betangel pro for a month, its an awesome program but I need to go on a course later in the year as my strategy requires tuning.

Just before I plunge in, the math on greening up is?
Lay at 4.02 for 2 = - 6.04
Back at 72 for 2 = 142
Lay at 74 for 1.91.
Green on all selections for ?
Sorry to be a pain as I am on a learning curve.
This was the last hand I layed only.

I dont have any problems only small bets. If you watch for a while you can lay at 4.2 at the start blind I have a few strategies, forget playing the cards, play the game. Some times after Laying you get a good "crap" hand the bots then send the ods way way out 70s 80s or more. what I would like to do then is back, then Green up. I am learning the probibility of the game and hope it is a random walk.

Just been checking the maths to green up on your poker game.
To green up to the tune of 1.92 on back odds of 100 you would need to back an amount of 0.084p (8.4 pence) which can't be done cos its below the 2 min.
Don't take the maths for granted as it's not my strong point and I've been wrong before but I'm sure if it's not correct then others on here will soon embarrass me by pointing it out!
Can I ask why you would like to green up when the back odds have drifted so far out?

For the tennis fans out there the Aussie Open is underway.
Aussie Open
Day 1 has already seen Tiger Tim dumped out by Tursunov, the same player that blew him out of Wimbledon last year.
Henman crashes out!
The red hot favourite, Federer starts his campaign and its interesting that you can't even get back odds against his 1st round opponent!

If Ive layed then at 4.02 with 2 I only stand to make 2 if the bet runs
if I then back at 100 my position is now
0
0
0
198
I now need to equalise this across all selections before the hand is eliminated.

Evening 355
I'm not too aware re. the mechanics of poker hands as I don't play it but it seems that there are 4 hands and you are backing/laying a chosen hand?
But if a hand is so bad that it's odds drift out to 100 then I'd rather not back it back and hopefully pick up 2 but take the very low chance of losing 6.
I understand your need to equalise out all selections but to do this would require a bet that's below the min stake

Ignore my last post as your post of 7932 has just become clearer to me.
Am I right to say that out of your 4 hands, 3 have no liability and the 4th a win of 198 and you wish to equalise so that all 4 show profits?
If that is so then just divide 198 by the lay odds of hand 4 and all should show equal green.

Hence the need for an API which can lay below the minimum as Betangel can, it will also do this in a flash.

I understand your needs as I use auto green on Betangel for all other events but as Fundy has already pointed out earlier it doesn't support the poker.
Auto green certainly saves on the headache of working things out!
Anyway, all this thinking has wiped me out and I'm of to bed!
Goodnight.

The problem is the speed at which it needs to be done.
you have about 20 seconds to calculate, put the order in and confirm.
one click would be ideal. I suspect others are able to get it in but I am unable.
I have spoken to someone tonight who may be able to make it hapen.

Woke up and couldn't get back to sleep for some reason. Perhaps the allure of the Aussie Open :-)
Anyway, volume is awful at the moment.
Will have another coffee and see if things improve. If not, back to bed.

SA making a complete hash of chasing a fair target in the 1 dayer - 2 run outs by the length of the pitch - a serious case of when does yes mean yes???

John...Maybe it's the withdrawal symptoms from our late night (or early morning) out! LOL
355...Just been pondering over your dilemma of getting your trade in quickly. You could work out the trade and put it into the system and wait for your order to be filled later.
