Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Good to see the Cons know their place and in control.

(Probably not enough NF influence.)

I must have missed Fred's post about the offensive remarks made by Labour MP Clive Lewis. Lewis a key Corbyn ally, shouted ''Get on your knees, bitch'' at a left wing Momentum meeting. Several Labour female MP's were furious and Lewis was forced to apologise.

2517GEORGE - 22 Oct 2017 19:14 - 7940 of 12628

Another close Corbyn ally Ian Lavery in a sleaze row over £165k he got from a union he ran prior to becoming an MP.

I didn't see Fred's post on this one either

251,

I have heard similar words out of the mouths of some con artists and Brexiters' mouths.

Are your words much more elegant?

Ask your wife or partner for their opinion of your flow of language.

Hypocritical springs to mind.

Have a look at Arron Bank's accounts.

How many millions and where did the come from and where did they go?

Perhaps, that is real sleaze or are you can only see what is palatable to yourself?

The "informed" referendum gets nearer.

jimmy b - 23 Oct 2017 09:21 - 7944 of 12628

If you think they are going to another vote with the public , dream on we did that we are leaving , can't wait . The EU will eventually fall to bits.

Stan - 23 Oct 2017 09:31 - 7945 of 12628

The "informed" referendum gets nearer and nearer.

Fred1new - 23 Oct 2017 09:58 - 7946 of 12628

Max,

Remember who is doing the signing.

VICTIM - 23 Oct 2017 10:25 - 7947 of 12628

George it's called turning a blind eye , or selective memory syndrome , or just being a pain in the arse because he hates Tories and will persist with double standards , it suits you see .

Martini - 23 Oct 2017 11:18 - 7948 of 12628

Stan what does "informed" referendum mean?

Fred1new - 23 Oct 2017 11:43 - 7949 of 12628

For a tory it is "your guess is better than mine"!

When you get to the bottom of the cliff you will know.

VICTIM - 23 Oct 2017 11:53 - 7950 of 12628

Crap , crap and more crap , the point being that anybody out there Con or Lab or Lib can be seen to be not be up to the mark . To put it mildly .

Martini - 23 Oct 2017 12:06 - 7951 of 12628

and for you Fred what does it mean?

hilary - 23 Oct 2017 12:13 - 7952 of 12628

Martini,

I guess it's 'informed' because Stan's the only person who's been informed about it.

Fred1new - 23 Oct 2017 13:01 - 7953 of 12628

Matini,

To me, it means a statement of the results of negotiations and possible contracts and regulations which will be applied.

It doesn't mean I don't like what I am being offered and I am puffing out your chest and walking away.

I still think "exiting" from the table without any real ability or influence of the future of "Europe" is stupidity.

Adolescents and children, like football hooligans, lead with their fists, sensible adults when they have problems sit down sit down and examine their "differences" and try to negotiate what is possible and of benefit or good for "all".

The majority of Europe seemed to have grown up, but it seems to me one country is at present is being distorted by an unruly stunted faction.

I hope the extremes of nationalism. "or little englanderss mentality" doesn't prevail.

-=-=-=-

Martini.

You seem to consider yourself a bright little chap.

Why don't you settle down in a comfortable chair in a quiet room and give yourself a little shake and work out the possible consequences for yourself?

-=-=-==

PS.

I was born before WW2 and recall the post-war state of Britain and Europe.

Also, recognise the advances made due to cooperation within the EU as well as other parts of the World, but would prefer to get on with my neighbours rather lording myself over them.

VICTIM - 23 Oct 2017 13:06 - 7954 of 12628

That's the belittling part of his show folks .
