Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Has any of these scandals actually involved sex or is it all just a bit of knee touching and offering to put people up for the night ?
Jeremy Thorpe ... now that was a proper scandal.

Have we had ankles yet? That really would be too far!
Could get messy if the grey area of cankles is involved.

If the UK did it "The Jersey Way" everyone would have been paid off to keep their mouths shut.
This is the way the judge, jury works to keep the status quo and the system in place:
https://jerseyeveningpost.com/news/2017/11/14/bailiff-rules-on-proposals-for-his-roles/
"The Bailiff’s position has been under increased scrutiny following recommendations made by the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry in the summer to reconsider two reports – the Clothier and Carswell reviews – which both called for an end to the dual role.
Backing the calls to elect a speaker for the States, Senator Ozouf said: ‘It is vital that you can’t be in any way involved in the law-making if you then judge the law,’ he said. ‘Secondly, a parliament must be democratic so it must follow that the speaker should also have democratic legitimacy.
‘We must also have somebody who is going to advance the standing of the Assembly – explain it, defend it – that is a democratic job and is a job that someone who is decided by the Assembly can do.’ "

Many of the present government are being paid off.
Some want even more and attempted to reward themselves by expense frauds.
Have a look at Bernard Jenkin expense claims 2009.
A brexiter who wishes to escape from crooked Brussels.

Are they paying the Civil Servants off as well Fred ? The top CS are the ones that often commit the crimes that the Crowns Agents and governments help conceal, often it is just noise about those in the public eye that are used to hide the real perpetrators.

Have a look at unions, have a look anywhere, it is what a population of humans do - class, gender, colour, political bent etc. don't enter into it.

Showing your ages and no doubt getting worried by this type of news, as I guess you must be counting the years also. Have you yet made arrangements for what many see as a dreaded day?

Looks like Venezuela is bankrupt, this would be in store for the UK if Corbyn/Labour ever get to govern.
