As I write, James Dyson, who makes those very good vacuum cleaners, is at 147th position with his $9.77B pile.

I see too, that at the last change he was up £124m and he is up $5.11B on the year to date.

Wikipedia tells me he is buying up acres and acres of agricultural and other land with his money and also developing some of it to sell on at a profit.

and why should he not?

iturama your right , the Henry has no filters it's straight through ,the builders use them to suck up fragments of brick and brick dust when working in houses , all for a hundred quid , can't beat them .

Henrys are for chavs, IMHO. ;-)

Dysons are much more fashionable and have a much, much bigger second hand market too. (Don't forget to keep the box)

1. Well, it might still have some good life in it. But if it's kept much longer it might become much more difficult to sell to anyone.

2. You have the money and want to try something new. It's also a bit of fun and helps to defray costs to knock the old one out on, say Ebay. (Don't forget to keep the box).

Look on eBay and you will find loads of second hand vacuum cleaners including lots of Dysons and Henrys.

I suppose there is a market for second hand vacuums at the car washing joints. But all that I have seen are Henry's. They know better than to use a useless Dyson that gets clogged if it sucks up a fruit gum.
