Frankly, we need a new generation of players.....we have not had a really great one since the days of Gazza, Lineker, Waddle and such !.....too much nonsense (polite word to replace something else) with this last 20 years lot !.

Nice theory, but try putting that into practise
the media (bless them) always like to find the new star, and build them up and we all know how it ends eg Walcott
be better imo if we operated the germanic system, but our mindless FA wouldn't have that

chamberlain does look good - but you can't possibly play 4 games for Arsenal and then be worthy of an England place surely ?

The likes of the Terry's and Rednapp's would probably have been banged up long ago if they hadn't landed on the feet and got into something like pro football.

I suspect the Revenue will get a lot more then £8m back over a very short time after this case Harry.
Redknapp and his former Chairman will get what's coming to them in the course of time I expect, these types usually do.

Result of the week at the Hawthorns tonight as the Young Clarets knock out the favorites in a magnificent performance with a sensational winner from Shay McCarton in the 90 minute.

Yet again the FA messes up - thank goodness the world still has men of principle like Fabio instead of those who jumped on the JT bandwagon

Interesting that Harry is acquitted, Fabio goes (or is pushed) and Harry is now in line to be offered the job all within 48 hours. The F.A. might be loonies, but I wonder if the the whole thing might have been manipulated? No way should J.T. have been stripped of the captaincy. Trail by jury, not by football. The F.A. must have known that decision would have been contentious. Fabio then slips on his own indiscretion in front of the italian media......The F.A. then slap him with a breach of contract clause.....Done & dusted.

LATEST:Harry Redknapp says he has 'not even thought about' the England manager's job and is focusing on his work at Tottenham Hotspur
Harry Redknapp says he has not thought about succeeding Fabio Capello and insists his focus remains on Tottenham.
The Spurs boss spoke to media outside his house on Thursday after Capello quit as England manager on Wednesday.
"I've never thought about [the England job]," he said. "[The FA] will make whatever decision they want to make and hopefully it will be right for the country. Tottenham have been fantastic.

Terry and Redknapp continue to push their luck.. until they get theirs as they will in the course of time no doubt.
