Planestation (Ex Wiggins Group plc) (PTG)

Socrates - 10 Jan 2004 10:34

Time now for all us Wiggins watchers to move with the times and start using Planestation, the new company identity. The name Wiggins Group plc has now disappeared from the database at Companies House and Planestation is now listed on the LSE website.

So fellow travellers, forget Wiggins, the name of the game is now PLANESTATION. Lets hope it goes like an express train.

Come on folks, has nobody any comment on todays riveting tv performance, personally I though it was a PR disaster!! but, maybe i missed something...

jj50 - 02 Sep 2004 18:43 - 802 of 1086

Still surprised at chap with that hat keeping it on through interview!

Certainly airport looked swish, but so quiet. As a passenger, I would have thought it looked like heaven!

apple - 02 Sep 2004 22:10 - 803 of 1086

jparis, it wasn't, it was OK.

Quite positive comments from customers ie. the people who matter.

jparis - 02 Sep 2004 23:01 - 804 of 1086

apple, yes the comments were ok, but nothing to get exited about-unless you like nice coffee and SMALL airports!! which seemed to be the jist of it. However I don't want to seem too negative, it was unfortunate that the in terview was'nt carried out yesterday when it was really busy, ho hum lets see what happens. Looks like I'll be holding this share for a while yet!

I`ve also looked at eu jet for potential bookings. They seem to be pretty competitive and I have a good feeling about them and PTG

apple - 03 Sep 2004 13:00 - 807 of 1086

There is no competion in Kent for these destinations.

Manston is the obvious choice for people living in Kent for Barecelona, Amsterdam or Dublin or any other destination that EU Jet decides to add.
(except channel tunnel destinations)

Socrates - 03 Sep 2004 17:23 - 808 of 1086

Local people seem to be reporting that, currently, outbound flights are better filled than returning flights. Some loads are quite low whilst others are quite well supported, loads of 40 - 60 mentioned for some but as low as 5 or 6 for others. At least one week-end flight to Murcia is reported to be full.

Looks like Redbridge council are also updating their website and inviting comments on the racecourse application.

http://www.redbridge.gov.uk/planning/racecourse.cfm

Lets hope not much longer before decision.
Good Luck
Eddie

The BBC have commented on the LFG sale.
(as we know the 1.5M is a deposit - not the final sale figure)
Good luck
Eddie

Yet another press article. this one is really quite encouraging:

snakey - 06 Sep 2004 21:18 - 814 of 1086

What chances of Tote, when it goes public, or Victor Chandler pumping money in as partner at racecourse venue ?? Interesting reading Soc, as Burford looks a very viable and lucrative proposition. I wouldn`t mind getting on the list meself for a property there!! There are definitely better times beckoning for PTG.

Socrates - 06 Sep 2004 22:36 - 815 of 1086

It gets even better, new website for Kent International Airport, much more professional look and feel:

Thanks for the info.

Canberra BI6 - 07 Sep 2004 21:04 - 817 of 1086

It is sometime since I posted here but what has happened to the share price. Although not reverting to the lows of sometime ago there is concern though. Now that the BIP is virtually on stream awaiting for the EU to carry out the final checks we find ourselves without the influx of cargo. Surely we are about too witness more positive news!!!!!!!!!

Sad news that RAF Marham lost a Canberra T4 last week along with the pilot and co pilot in the 3CT Seats, sincerely hope they do not ground the rest of the fleet.
