I wonder if we aren't bonkers?
This is a small stock value at an expensive price. The product is very interesting and has some military and commercial users, I understand.
But this is all about being Green by using solar power...which is hideously expensive to produce so only someone that has no alternative (or wants to spend money on PR) would contemplate.
In 10years time we shall see greater efficiencies and lower cost per watt - but the current sp shows it like it isn't - IMHO.
Indeed at 35p it might be a good investment to help tip a portfolio into the "green". but at 3.50 - ...arrgh.
Perhaps it's me, I'll lie down.

This is truly a crap company, hangon. Good research you have done.

It's still too much IMHO - and these are 1-cent shares.....That's about one halfpenny and punters are prepared to pay 66x earnings -presumably in the hope this stock repays their trust....
[EDIT : 54p today, Shares says this fall is due to production delays . . . well It needs to halve before I'll consider it.
-And this was almost 5 only a year ago - some Sanity returns, eh?
Wow!]

Well, that's more like it.
Let's wait and see, eh?
45% fall...yet plenty of Buys - is that Av. Dn.?
Today's sp 25p is about one fifth of the float-price....oooer!
Anyone that chased this to 4 is well and truely sadened now, it never was worth that. This is remeniscent of the Dot-Com bubble - the notion that there is great power, just waiting to be tapped from the sun.
[[Oil is the concentrated effect of Sun over thousands/millions of years so we are taught - that's why it is such a "Good Idea" for transport, where you want the "fuel" to weigh zero-ish.
The only advantage Electric has is that charging overnight is "almost free" as there are no greedy Government taxes. But as a technology it's dumb, on account of the weight of the battery, dragging that about adds no-value to your journey.
((-At least the windscreen keeps the wind/rain out.))..]]
hlyeo98, yr earlier post - I disagree, it's probably not "the company" - it's daft punters and Tipsters maybe too....
Powerfilm [PFLM] - photovoltaic is a good idea (er, if cheap enough), particulalrly in regions where no electricity exists.....esp for Army tents . . . but roofs of supermarkets is "probably too far" - since the sunlight would be better used lighting the store. The hope is that the Co, gets some Eco-benefit, but it won't be much, when they can use the Electric Main to provide lighting and air-con etc. A better design of building might reduce the need for that energy....but we aren't geared up to that way, just yet.
This company claims a long history and (it seems) a good product - but "why" did they list here? - - - -That is another reason I'm wary, even now, but it's getting attractive.
EDIT 5 Aug08 - 19.5 pence after trading update - ( fell 25% early trading) - not good.
EDIT22Aug08 - Seems the USB charger device is lifting things - 26p to buy - but it was over 4 a year ago - so this is 1/16th level........5k would be 350...oh dear.....I don't go much on these "green energy" companies listing over-here.

25 Sept up 33% - on no News and just 40k-worth of Buys.
-No this is still not "quite right", IMHO . . . . . maybe if it had continued to fall to sub20p - then the "Risk/Rewards" would be a lot better ( twice as good as "today" ), so I'm prepared to wait . . .
Note that UK plc is making noises that our energy must come from coal + Nuclear and by selling off Nuclear, UK-Gov will leave the construction-bill to the French and the "Market price" for elec "at coal-prices".....quite a neat fix for Labour to employ more miners . . . and improve some run-down areas, in traditional areas.
/
However, This requires that we drop Green-Elec ideas - and that must lead to a softening of Solar-cells. SO invest ONLY if it's cheap . . . . . IMHO.
I suggest the same fate will befall Wind-generators . . . . . . . . always a daft idea I thought.
At least Wave-power + Tidal is predictable!
EDIT(26Jn09)-18p mid - down 30% on results. - stll way too expensive - for me 1.8p would be nearer the mark - and- that when punters are likely to return to flash the Market . . . . . .
EDIT-(29Jy09)- yesterday the Co bought its own share - will they never learn? - so todays rise is purely an arithmetic exercise - I doubt that folk are suddenly buying solar-cells, rather with few new-builds I doubt Architechs are even thinking about any solar electrics. This last week has been dull and rainy (UK-here,) with floods predicted....Oooer.
EDIT-(23Jn10)-up 17% on No News in the past month; still, Wimbledon is on and the sun is shining...now 27p - Investors must have been in the sun too long.
EDIT_(2Jy10)_24p to buy, but not yet, maybe at 12p I might, but "over here?"...Note: I'd suggested 1.8p ...doesn't look as though punters will let that happen, pity.
EDIT (9May2012)- Oh deary, 16p(today=down 15%), that's half this time last year...
