Betbrokers plc, (AIM: BETB), the UK's first retail and wholesale brokerage and
clearing house for the sports betting industry, is pleased to announce the
appointment of Daniel Stewart & Company plc as nominated adviser and broker to
the Company with immediate effect.

Betbrokers PLC said its UK business is still performing strongly with the average deal size increasing 16.18 pct to 1,106 stg for the 2007 calendar year and that it is confident on future performance.

The UK's first retail and wholesale brokerage and clearing house for the sports betting industry said the number of transactions have also risen 74.7 pct to 52,352 in 2007 besides a spurt in trading volumes to 53.6 mln stg from 28.5 mln.

The company said Winning Edge, which it acquired in September 2007, contributed 2.3 mln usd to its revenue.

Wayne Lochner, chief executive said: 'We are confident that Winning Edge will continue to perform in the future and believe that the group can benefit from the significant cross-selling opportunities that exist between our UK operations and Winning Edge.'

Betbrokers plc, (AIM: BETB), the UK's first retail and wholesale brokerage and
clearing house for the sports betting industry, is pleased to announce that the
Group has raised 495,000 via the issue of 10 per cent secured loan notes due
2013.
In addition, Betbrokers has also raised 57,750 before expenses through an
institutional placing of 5,775,000 new ordinary shares of 0.25p each (the '
Placing Shares') at a price of 1p per share (the 'Placing').
The proceeds will be used to further facilitate the Group's growth and ongoing
working capital requirements.
Application has been made for the Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on
AIM, which is expected to take place on 18 March 2008. Following the Placing,
the enlarged share capital of the Company will be 314,172,753 ordinary shares
of 0.25p each.

The Placing Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued
ordinary shares of 0.25p each, with each share carrying the right to one vote.
