Thought for the day? (MRW)

seawallwalker - 02 Jul 2004 14:33

Lets all buy Morrisons while the price is low, then go shopping there this afternoon.

That way we can manipulate the price and send it up!

Wot and not give us bottom feeders anything to eat?

lol

Sir Ken picked up 500k MRW shares yesterday, holds approx 109 million. I nearly did but chickened out (picked some up but not 500k!!!). General feeling is that they will recover, the company is not one that relies on getting analysts in to sort them out, they know what works and will, in time, make it work. If they are still cheap (below 2) I will probably buy some on Monday. I have held them from the lows but sold out at about 170p. Dohhh.

Also holding WLW, comfortably in profit, so no dropping to 40p thank you very much.

SBRY are a dog at the moment, they will have their day but all the scrapping about the former ceo's bonus/salary will do them no good. Too much navel gazing and not focussed on sorting the business out, unlike MRW. There's no way I'd buy SBRY at the moment.

Just my opinion which I'm sure you don't want really ;-)
