The Dow industrials have peeked above the 10,900 level for the first time since June 13, 2001. The blue chip barometer was last up 82 points at 10,915, and was now 835 points shy of its all-time high of 11,750 reached in January 2000. The last time the Dow closed above 10,900 was on June 12, 2001, when it closed at 10,948.
