MoneyAM Problems?

bhunt1910 - 20 Apr 2005 07:51

I am getting a lot of "URL not found messages all over my AM screen. Is this a Money AM problem - or something at my end ???

I am still getting the main screens - I first noticed it last night

bhunt1910,

it's possible that the page has been cached at your ISP's end so you'll just have to wait until they clear their cache (within 12 hours or so)

We are in the same position as baza, so if we wait 12 hours should clear???

Regards Di and Paul.

McPAulass,

This is more than likely the case.

I cannot get the Streaming Charts this morning. I use Mozilla 1.73.on a Linux platform but have never had problems before. Also Level 2 and My stockwatch is fine - just the charts. Is this something to do with the upgrade?

Alan,

The upgrade had nothing to do with this area of the site and could not affect it in any way - can you please tell me exactly what you see when you try to pull up a streaming chart?

Di & Paul - I use AOL - do you?

Hi Baza, Yes we do use AOL, perhaps this is the problem. Regards Di and Paul

I just get an X in the terminal frame. Mozilla says loading java applet failed. I have altered nothing this end!

Alan,

Very strange especially as you can see other streaming functions - it may be worthwhile updating the Java Plugin that runs the applets to make sure that it is completely up to date.

You can get that from clicking below:

Working ok now - very weird but at least I'm happy. Thanks for quick response anyway!

Now to see I can block those ads :0)

I'm getting lots of 'Not Found' messages all over the place. But as these coincide with advertisers slots I'm not bothered at all. Everything else works fine. Please don't change it. ;-)

IanT(MoneyAM) - 20 Apr 2005 09:51 - 20 of 83

Starfrog,

It is probably due to the reasons stated above, and should clear when your proxy is cleared at your ISP.

Thanks Ian, but it really isn't a problem. Everything is much faster now (not that it was particularly slow in the past). :-)

all,

I have just put in place some cache busting changes so the 'no found' errors should reduce on the site shortly.
