MPF is an incredible play. I got in at 120p and have watched with growing amazement as the SP has ticked higher, over and over again. Now I'm not talking about 10-bagger status here, or even large one-day rises. I'm talking about a share that goes up a penny here, half a penny there, but always goes up. It won't make you rich overnight but it could provide for your pension pot later on down the line. And it pays a good dividend. I haven't posted before as I didn't want to jinx the incredible day-after-day sp performance but it has sailed through 200p today and I felt that the story needed to be shared. Anyone else out there on the MPF train?

Not a penny lost over the last 2 days of carnage, followed by a penny gain today. Magic share.

Shares never go up in a straight line!
Aquisition following sad death adds up to me.
95m+ following successful placing available more aquisitions in growth sector.Yearly dividend increases.Increase from 4p up 25% to 5p.
I'll be taking up my placing entitlement.Good job banked some profits 203p-210p!
Over 77% held by Institutional shareholders. That's only the 3% or more known about therefore could possibly be higher than that say 80%+ if under 3% non declarable interest included. Proof and evidence of very strong Institutional following.Good news for private investor.

lex100 - I was beginning to think that MPF had lost its magic wand but there was obviously knowledge from some of the impending placing. I sold half my stake at 202p and this is now effectively a free ride for me :-)

Banked profits on MPF and bought back in sub 160p.
MPF completed placing & open open offer @ 170p.Aquisition completed.Share priced dropped and been consolidating 155p levels.Overhang cleared.Higher volumes last few days particularly today over 26m.
Chart and t/a suggest MPF a strong buy candidate.Currently 165.5p-166.5 chance to buy @ discount to 170p!Good business model same sector as PHP both leaders, good growth and pays progressive dividend policy.Best of all worlds.Buy low!

queen1, MPF ticking up nicely. Share should go on to regain all ground lost and then some.Bought back in time to qualify for interim dividend payable 27/10/06 in little more than a month! Final dividend will be payable between April and June 2007. I do like the bonus of progressive dividend policy.
For information to others MPF have in excess of 70% institutional investors. The appeal of MPF is long term growth & regular dividend income.Know they're onto a good thing.
