10706,

Quite likely its time to top-up if the following is true posted on SC (via ADFN). Please note though that the poster has no concrete evidence for this and would not claim to have any he is as interested as the rest of us. However "there is no smoke without fire". Please do not construe this as ramping. Make your own decisions. Obviously if anyone can come up with any evidence to back these claims up then the sky is the limit as far as SP!

Well, if this is ture... Tokyo, get that cash through!!

Tokyo - 26 Oct 2004 13:35 - 802 of 2700

that was the rumour I was talking about earlier, but afraid at the moment it is just that "a rumour", Wouldn't it be lovely if it were true, but wouldn't advise anyone to go out and buy on the back of this. (Perhaps a nice phone call to PET trying to speak to/meet with DH at his earliest convience, although not sure they'd fall for it!)

107606 - Hahaha yeah the cash needs to hurry up, but it takes 2 working days to clear through the comdirect system, as I'm an expat, looks as if I may have missed the drop as it has turned blue, but still happy to top up.

Reading through the posts the old rumour mill seems to be in full swing, DH is back in London? Have PET actually confirmed this to anyone on this thread?

I read the old report about PET & Heritage oil, if they were the 2nd international company, that would be so fantastic, only time and alot more patience(even if it is only one more day) are gonna tell

article is here -

People have been ringing PET and it is reportedly confirmed that DH is indeed in london now. If so we can expect an RNS soon

107606 - 26 Oct 2004 14:55 - 805 of 2700

I believe that DH is now firmly back on terra eire. Writing up a nice RNS for tomorrow?

107606 - 26 Oct 2004 14:56 - 806 of 2700

Wow we managed that simultaneously! Oh its getting very exciting now!!! Do you still have two days from now before your money goes in? I do hope you get it in time, cos this may explode at any time...

Tokyo - 26 Oct 2004 15:14 - 807 of 2700

no sent the cash on Monday following the drop, so should clear tomorrow morning, hopefully in time, but if the RNS beats me, I'll be happy either way

Could still get in early there will be along way to go through the day.

Just thought I should share some very sad news, as I'm sure you havent heard it yet in Tokyo. John Peel has died at the age of 65 on holiday in Peru. Even if you are not a fan, you must know of him, so I thought I'd share the news. I'm a bit sad now...

Tokyo - 26 Oct 2004 15:25 - 809 of 2700

Just read the news report, always used to listen to his radio show when driving from Bournemouth back up to Leeds when I was a student, He'll be sadly missed, feel a bit sad myself now

107606 - 26 Oct 2004 15:30 - 810 of 2700

It was somewhere he always wanted to go and he was with his wife, comiserations to them all.

rkausar - 26 Oct 2004 17:01 - 811 of 2700

Tokyo,

I totaly agree with you re: postings on this board. We like to hear positive thoughts and opinions. Anybody who has a problem with that should not post at all.

By the way guys whats your opinion on GOO, it's up 10% today????

dexter01 - 26 Oct 2004 17:12 - 812 of 2700

Christ almighty!!,
Just come in from manicuring the gardens(well cutting the poxy grass!!),and the bb`s are rife with rumour. If DH is back,i would think there would be something issued ASAP, if only to give them some peace and quiet to run their other companies!.
Tokyo, have you upset anyone else today?, most unlike you to have a go!!, good luck with your buys in the morning.

I see what you mean about the Advfn bb, i posted about Sonoran this morning and they did`nt pick up on it until late PM. it`s good to have a laugh , but we do need some serious stuff.
Dexter

rkauser

I have been ahealthy advicate of GOO for a while. Expect to see the price see saw a lot until any news is released, but they have a massive potential and I think that within a year at least some of it will be realised. I think that at the price they are at the moment, they are cheap as chips and will win for you in 2005. That is my opinion. But don't expect a quick buck out of these, it may take a little time, and as i said the price will see saw so you may be up one day and down the next... Sounds like another share I hold...!

Tokyo, over to you!

EWRobson - 26 Oct 2004 18:32 - 814 of 2700

Tokyo

In passing; accept that you, Dexter et al, who have been doing a terrific job are entitled to swat those you feel are waspish. Main point is that I hadn't picked up the link from Horgan to PRE. Looking at statement of results, the operation is very credible, successful and probably under-valued. Allays any doubts about whether Horgan is playing his hand optimally. Sitting with a nice hand myself - thanks to this bb.

Hey Tojo resident expert of the bb where are your manners I was not deramping and as far as the work force goes you still need people to show the locals what is required they need supervising. I take it you are white collar man and presume the rest of us are not on your intellectual level, as you say idiots well just let me say this thats ok while you are in the land of the rising sun but when you return to dear old blighty, myself I am 5'3" tall of average build dont live far from heathrow and quite willing to meet you on your return at xmas please do leave details of your arrival look forward to seeing you

sandrew64 - 27 Oct 2004 01:37 - 816 of 2700

Mort
Without wishing to become embroiled in your dispute... I for one,and I am sure I am not alone, really appreciate Tokyo's opinions and input on this thread .
I'm sure we all understood the point you were making on your last post,re: the security situation in Iraq and you are entitled to your opinions,.....BUT please do NOT use this thread to make personal attacks on it's members. If you have something constructive and useful to add fair enough, if not why bother?!?
S.

Tokyo - 27 Oct 2004 08:07 - 817 of 2700

Final top up done today, although on-line max was only 1500

as for Mort......not even gonna bother

johngtudor - 27 Oct 2004 08:13 - 818 of 2700

Tokyo: Well done...close shave for you! The price certainly has an upward momentum today! John

Tokyo - 27 Oct 2004 08:18 - 819 of 2700

Thanks John, thought I'd missed out on the drop, but if news from the other side proves to be true, i.e. the city rumour that DH is now back in London with 2 contracts and news on block 6 (Only still a rumour in my eyes, but if it is confirmed, can you imagine the effect on the Share price - This was posted over there

Regarding your post that someone called the company and they confirmed that Horgan was in the office. I confirm this was me, however i did not speak to DH, only the secretary. I then asked my brother to call them back 20 mins later and he was told that he, DH, had now left and would not be back until friday.
Presumably he is arriving in heathrow aor gatwick and will be in london for the PRE meeting

Hope this clarifies things

Dont think i will be able to sleep tonight without a decent bottle of wine. Are you for real implying 2 contracts block 6 and other goodies as well?

This may help explain some of the upward momentum this morning, although I would still expect the MM's to try a little shake to get some more stock today, could be another day of ups and downs
