Many thanks to Goldie for running a most enjoyable competition and congratulations to Hilary and her team for a sterling performance.

Big Al - 02 Oct 2004 21:11 - 802 of 808

Soc - great pickings! ;-)

50% up, 50% down over the 8 teams. Market forces?

jj50 - 03 Oct 2004 10:56 - 803 of 808

So we dropped a place but that's life and after the hospitality given to us in the North-West, we couldn't have been "nudged down" by a nicer team!

WELL DONE HILARY!

Big "thank you" to Golddog for setting this up and umpiring! Have a great time in Spain and I hope no quarantine problems on way back :-)

I must nominate Stockbunny as the very best captain - well done and thanks Bunny for keeping all us ladies and maggiebunton (!) under control!

MightyMicro - 03 Oct 2004 12:51 - 804 of 808

This_is_me - 05 Oct 2004 09:09 - 807 of 808

Gausie - 06 Oct 2004 08:44 - 808 of 808

Couldn't resist posting this quote from the traders room; sums up my trading strategy and how I played in the team game.

I am also reminded of another recent remark by Warren Buffet: asked why he was heavily in cash, he remarked "doing nothing is better than doing something stupid".
