I am enjoying the ride but have been in BPRG for sometime now and look closely on their posts, I don't we can dismiss the CC so lightly, it is very complicated and there are some very good posters on ample BPRG thread, one professing to be a lawyer who thinks the compensation claims might be significant... Its my choice as its yours regarding investing. Good luck whatever your direction.

mickeyskint - 08 Feb 2005 13:41 - 802 of 27111

I think you are right to be cautious re the CC. Bearing in mind that the CC is to set the damages to be awarded. SEO have alreday lost the original case. Yes there is great potential but money is tight and a rights issue is almost certain. Be careful untill the CC is out of the way.

It's difficult to expand on what I said earlier, only the court case has no bearing on what we are seeing. What we witnessed this morning is purely to do with lidding applications. I work as a Technical Sales Manager in this field, the potential is massive, absolutley massive. What SEO will have to pay in damages will probably now only result in a small blip, a few months ago it would have been a disaster, but now ASDA have successfully trialled the other supermarkets will be forced to follow suit. Tesco and Sainsburys will not let ASDA steal their thunder!!! by marketing green/ eco friendly packaging.

Welcome back 1910 don't like seeing people go over board not at this stage of the game any way.

AdieH - 08 Feb 2005 14:08 - 806 of 27111

I agree the lidding technology has fantastic/huge potential but it will be impacted by CC, maybe only in the short term but depends on level of compensation, it depends if you see this as short term trade or long term, i'm in for the short term until CC is out of the way...

Jacks - 08 Feb 2005 14:11 - 807 of 27111

Adie, Good luck. I am generally a short term investor who takes profit, however on this I am very excited and will hold on until they reach 50p. This could be the magic share, i.e. a life changing investment and not just a nice holiday out of the profits.

AdieH
I think you are mistaken to wait for the cc compensation the sp may hit 30p by then and dip 8p on the cc, so what.

AdieH - 08 Feb 2005 14:40 - 810 of 27111

We will see, good to see lots of good debate rather than slanging matches, good luck whatever yr take on this, as long as we make profit eh...

bosley - 08 Feb 2005 14:48 - 811 of 27111

great post wilbs. seo getting publicity in different places. it all helps. as to where the price is going in the short term, i have no idea. i had a 10p target not too long ago , but thats gone . thought it would steady at 10p but we saw 12p earlier today.and thats just on news that the initial asda trial was successful , and they can now do a bigger trial. theres a little bit of hype now which all helps momentum. bprg is a great example of what hype and momentum can do to a price.adieh makes sense, but until there is definate news on when the cc is settled , who knows what the sp will get to.
(driver, one garden wall demolished, time to start on tearing up that concrete. now wheres that kango)

wilbs - 08 Feb 2005 14:48 - 812 of 27111

No probs driver. IMHO I think the sp will drop around news of the cc compensation but will just be a small blip as some nervy investers will sell. Like you jacks I dont usually hold long term but this is one that I will hold as the rewards will be worth waiting for.

Your not helping Eric with his 75k extension, he will be getting you to do some soul searching next.

superrod - 08 Feb 2005 15:08 - 816 of 27111

sold my 50k for 11.75 this am, but now back in at 10.25p with some FREE shares.

bosley - 08 Feb 2005 15:09 - 817 of 27111

lol@driver. no, just re commencing work on my house.taken a year off after complete refurbishment. now im under orders to finish off all those little jobs i didnt get around to and to get started on the gardens. mind you, if seo keep on going like this , i will be having my own extension done.(sp would need to be in s though).
fantastic volume , once again. well done suprrod.

bosley - 08 Feb 2005 15:11 - 818 of 27111

10.25p? how did you get that!!!

Jacks - 08 Feb 2005 15:17 - 819 of 27111

Wilbs, let's hope we are right. It will take a lot of nerve to hold out. I have been tempted so many times and take my profit (as my instinct tells me) but have resisted and continued to buy. Fingers crossed for everyone, let's just sit tight and ride out the blips, of which we can be sure there will be.

wilbs - 08 Feb 2005 15:24 - 820 of 27111

I agree jacks, seo have got such a fantastic product and I cant see what can go wrong, the worst would be no supermarkets sign contracts but can anyone really see that happening? I no nothing is ever certain or guaranted but seo have got more + than - on their side.Has anyone set a stop loss? I have not and would not on a share like this.
