Hi All,
Anyone ever read 'Meat and Deli Retailer' ?????
Well maybe you should, I just read it online, because one of my searches found a Stanelco advert from May 2005, which covers Greenseal, Frogpack and Cradlewrap !!!!
The advert is split into two diagonally, one side is entitled
Revolutionize your Packaging with Frogpack and Cradlewrap
The other side is entitled
Revolutionize your Tray Lidding & Thermoforming with Greenseal RF Technology
I have uploaded the advert to my website, as it is quite a large image and might ruin the BB. Go to my website, and then to the News page, scroll down nearly to the bottom of the page, where the press items are, and there you will see the advert, in all its glory :)
http://www.stanelco.devisland.net/
Also, at the bottom of the advet is an e-mail address within this domain ....

Puzzled by today's trading. A lot of selling this afternoon at 21.25p. Yet all soaked up: if by one MM, then presumably he is acquiring for a substantial buyer. Then two late trades of 1 million shares each (the WT one?) which could be the same MM. May become clearer tomorrow.
I find it easier to understand why there is a substantial buyer(s) around rather than the selling at this price. Doesn't really make sense. The present sp is justified by 900 Greenseal orders of which ASDA accounts for about a third, probably. Wal-Mart suppliers must account for well into four figures and I reckon it to be odds on that that process starts by the end of the quarter. So why sell out at this price - it appears to be a miscellany of sellers because of the range of quantities.
I wonder where dynamite is. About time she came back in as that would get the sp moving again!

EW Hi,
I reckon the two 1mm were buys, as the price would have gone through the floor if they were sells on top of the 3mm already sold.
Some/many/a lot of the sells could be shorters, and the buyer could be countering them, just to watch them burn ....
The buyer might know about an upcoming deal, or they might have just read my website :))
Also EVO might be collecting as the note I mentioned before should be out this week, and considering they have missed updates on the last three RNS because Tim Freeborne was on holiday, there will be a lot to cover, and they could be getting ready for the release of the note.

Hi Paul
Makes some sense: but wouldn't you expect more of a mark-up on the buy; perhaps it is balancing the books or the trade is justified on brokerage. Should become clearer on tomorrow's opening. If there is a shorting exercise, you normally see a lot of round numbers and a regular pattern which doesn't appear to be there today. It will be good to get an Evo update to restore the buying interest. Might just get a nice hint about the US too!

And I quote ....
"The seal integrity posseses less than a one-tenth of one percent leakage factor. It's return-to-manufacturer (RTM) rate is also less than one-tenth of one percent annually, realizing a savings of millions of dollars for retailers"

Good find Paul
Morning Bos, Driver etal
Loverly Blue skies this morning -time to recover the garden after the last weeks rains.
Wonder what we have in store today - (yawn) - another meander day methinks - unless those late trades yesterday have some bearing on events. Mind I dont like that pre opening spread wth a bid of 18 and an offer of 21.75

One of the MM's is blatantly dropping the S.P at the open, this is three days in a row that the first MM starting at 7am, has dropped the S.P
On both occaisions before, the price has gone back to being UP by 8am
Those MM's are having a right battle !

Same as yesterday - all sells - but no material change to share price. I am assuming from what others say that someone is mopping up the sells and that there will be another big WT trade this afternoon.
Sorry got that wrong - someone just bought 64 shares !!! - that should change things
