THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

as opposed to corbyn's vision to screw anyone who has the ambition to work hard and profit through those efforts, impose CPO on whatever land comes to mind, let the unions run rife and ruin along the way ....... and of course to borrow, borrow, borrow to bankrupt the country yet again

Fred1new - 20 Apr 2018 17:04 - 80693 of 81564

Better than a lot of losing tory chancers, many who haven't done a days work in their lifetime, and are bankrupting the UK but at the same time moving their assets on to seemingly greener pastures.

cynic - 20 Apr 2018 18:13 - 80694 of 81564

is that so?
well i don't see that you have done anything for mankind either despite your supercilious diktats about what others should do
you're intrinsically a hypocrite

ExecLine - 20 Apr 2018 18:28 - 80695 of 81564

Years ago, an aunt of mine rang me.

She wanted to borrow £5k "because the tax man is pressing me and I think it is now getting very serious."

Now, I'd historically witnessed her take numerous sums of money from my granny. In fact, that's why I sussed out she used to visit the old lady. ie for a hand out - rather than to see how she was.

"No," I told her. "Because I think that would be the last I would ever see of it."

Haven't seen or heard from her since. I was obviously not a lot of use to her. I often wonder if she is still alive.

In my mind's eye, she is my own perfect definition of "a leftie".

When Corbyn becomes PM he will tax both you and Manuel out of existence.

He already has his little list.

Perhaps, Manuel may be able to get a job as waiter or pot-washer again.

Though, I wouldn't tip him.

-=-=-=-=

Fred1new - 20 Apr 2018 18:47 - 80697 of 81564

Manuel,

Ps

What diktats have I advanced or advocated?

I think. in general, I have only pointed to your follies of some of the ideas that you hold and try to believe in. (Substitution.)

Often, you seem to me to project your own fears and insecurities when you feel challenged.

Dil - 20 Apr 2018 19:08 - 80698 of 81564

We would all be better off if it were Corby that got a job as a waiter.

Forget the Tories , wtf has Corby ever done ?

Spying and terrorist sympathiser excepted.

MaxK - 20 Apr 2018 20:18 - 80699 of 81564

You sound like you've got a few bob Fred.

Where will you stand when Corby comes for your hard earnt?

cynic - 20 Apr 2018 20:42 - 80700 of 81564

always fred (not just often) you come across as the supercilious hyprocrite

if i had learned that you had actually gone to lesbos or similar (as my son did) to distribute toys and the like to the children, or taken (illegal) immigrants into your own home and looked after them, or regularly spent christmas with the local homeless or even at the local hospice, then i would have respect for you

as you should know, you have to earn respect, and absolutely you have not

for myself, i do not look for it, though at least people who know me, know that i tell things as i truly see them

Fred1new - 21 Apr 2018 09:15 - 80701 of 81564

You seem as blind as a bat.

Get back to washing the plates.

Dil - 21 Apr 2018 09:47 - 80702 of 81564

See your mate Abbott dropped herself in it again this week Fred.

Posted a picture on Twitter while ranting about us bombing Syria of supposedly a US plane carrying out the attack.

Turns out it was a picture of an Israeli jet bombing Iran and a fake one too I believe.

Good old Diane , never let the truth get in the way of your version of events love.

Fred1new - 21 Apr 2018 14:42 - 80703 of 81564

Dilly,

You go to football matches.

By association, you must be a hooligan.

Chris Carson - 21 Apr 2018 14:48 - 80704 of 81564

Fred you are a Left Wing nutter, by association you must be a Knobhead as well as a Gobshite! ;0)

Dil - 22 Apr 2018 10:55 - 80705 of 81564

I do apologise Fred if I got it wrong about you being a fan of Abbott.

Fred1new - 22 Apr 2018 12:34 - 80706 of 81564

Comes to mind.

PS.

Don't tell Manuel.

cynic - 22 Apr 2018 13:23 - 80707 of 81564

rush of the wind?
not sure if that is fred's usual hot air or one of his even more obnoxious farts

Fred1new - 22 Apr 2018 13:38 - 80708 of 81564

Watch out or they may send you home as a second generation immigrant.

cynic - 22 Apr 2018 13:45 - 80709 of 81564

i'm surprised you do not live in bologna with its long reputation for pretty extreme left wing politics
i'm sure you could even get a pitch with soapbox in piazza maggiore where you could spout for hours with no one taking offense - or even paying any attention

========

btw i'm 3rd generation

Fred1new - 22 Apr 2018 15:57 - 80710 of 81564

You should definitely be exported.

But who would knowingly have let you into their country?

-=-=-=

Max,

You are right, and I was told by my father when I was a teenager, that I should consider myself lucky to be able to afford to pay taxes and that when taxation is used properly it benefits all in a society by making it a decent and better society for all to live in.

I still agree with him.

But if you or Manuel have any ill-gotten untaxed taxable items I think you should approach some of the hunters in this tory government who might be able to wash them for you.

Mind you have to make an "honest" mistake for you, to do so.

But I suppose some will call it using their wits to protect their "hard" earned income.

Ps.

If Brexit occurs, name three ways in which your everyday living will be change after getting your sovereignty back.

I know.

Perhaps you will have the Queen's head on both sides of the coins.
