THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Are you anti-?

what is the right word?

Anti-royalist.

Pure diversionary tactics when there are other things in the news?

UMM<

How did they get her to hatch on the right date?

required field - 24 Apr 2018 16:04 - 80718 of 81564

No...not at all...just suffering from royal media overexposure.....and ...I've worked out that my line in succession to the throne has just suffered a setback in the fact that I've just dropped a notch ....damn.....

Clocktower - 24 Apr 2018 16:14 - 80719 of 81564

"How did they get her to hatch on the right date?" By being inseminated on the right date of choice Fred. :-) Science is marvelous compared to when I assume you were nothing more than a sperm that was desperate to meet any egg it could get its clutches onto.

Fred1new - 24 Apr 2018 16:19 - 80720 of 81564

It is truly terrible.

To see somebody just born jump ahead in the queue without even being offered a peerage.

cynic - 24 Apr 2018 16:37 - 80721 of 81564

oh do stick a sock in your gob fred, and preferably one that has been worn for at least a week ....... you're just a cracked record that really should be binned

Clocktower - 24 Apr 2018 16:40 - 80722 of 81564

I doubt that you or I would drop to the floor in front of any queen or king to be knighted Fred but on the other hand you would suck up to JC if he were the head of state, and accept any reward bestowed upon you for your services to the party,

Fred1new - 24 Apr 2018 16:48 - 80723 of 81564

Manuel.

Have you had another bad day in the market?

If you do reply, try to do so without boasting.

By the way, I type with my fingers.

Do you use your snout?

cynic - 24 Apr 2018 17:15 - 80724 of 81564

hahaha! that's very funny for you fred ...... it happens that i'm in bologna, lest you had forgotten, so paying little attention to the markets

required field - 24 Apr 2018 17:25 - 80725 of 81564

Good spaghetti out that way I presume......(some people think that comes from Birmingham).....

Fred1new - 24 Apr 2018 17:26 - 80726 of 81564

I hope you admire the architecture while you are there but suspect you would be happier in a bog.

cynic - 25 Apr 2018 09:12 - 80727 of 81564

yes thank you fred ..... we arranged a private walking tour and therefore one learns far more than on just wandering about rather aimlessly

assuming you have actually been here, i trust you had a good chuckle at the "highly contentious" medieval mural in st petronous catherdral on piazza maggiore

==============

pasta here is truly fantastic and far removed from what one gets in uk

Fred1new - 25 Apr 2018 09:33 - 80728 of 81564

Manuel,

Be careful you don't get booked for loitering.

I am told the cells are a bit uncomfortable.

cynic - 25 Apr 2018 12:05 - 80729 of 81564

only in the monastery, and i don't qualify for one of those

iturama - 25 Apr 2018 12:49 - 80730 of 81564

Must be bloody boring in Bologna if all you have to do is chat with Fred, C.

cynic - 25 Apr 2018 13:03 - 80731 of 81564

digesting a good lunch :-)

ExecLine - 25 Apr 2018 16:24 - 80732 of 81564

"Prince Albert"

Tee hee hee.

Hilarious!

ExecLine - 25 Apr 2018 16:36 - 80733 of 81564

Was this a Russian "Hit and Run"?

Hmmm?

Vladimir Uglev, a Russian scientist, was mowed down by a car near his house days after he claimed to have helped develop the nerve agent that almost killed the Skripals.

Vladimir was rushed to hospital in his hometown of Anapa on the Black Sea after he was struck while walking over a pedestrian crossing on Tuesday.

He suffered bruises to his head, right arm, and right leg and was in a stable condition while doctors awaited the results of head scans.

Clocktower - 25 Apr 2018 17:04 - 80734 of 81564

Of course Putin & co would never arrange anything like that EL - what are you possibly thinking. It is all fake news put out by the English who may have even killed the Skripals, all part of a plan to hurt the poor Russian State and its very rich friends that have property in London and stashes of money in the Channel Islands Tax Haven, as they welcome them there and allow them to buy homes - even though they are hardly ever seen.

cynic - 25 Apr 2018 17:49 - 80735 of 81564

and if it's in the daily mail it must be true, just as was everything put out by breitbart

cynic - 25 Apr 2018 17:56 - 80736 of 81564

better still .............

Russia is promoting the idea that Sergei and Yulia Skripal could be dead, as the fallout from the Salisbury spy poisoning continues.

With numerous conspiracy theories promoted by Russia about what exactly happened in the nerve agent attack on the streets of Britain, a high-ranking official has suggested the Skripals may not have even been poisoned.

Vladimir Chizhov, the Russian Ambassador to the EU, made the extraordinary claim as he stated that the British Government has been ‘more successful in dividing the EU than we would have ever been’.
