THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

I wonder if the other lady will depart.

Sorry, WHEN?

Clocktower - 30 Apr 2018 17:21 - 80766 of 81564

She has done well to pick Javid - that will balance the scales and subdue her enemies. A women`s wisdom Fred.

Why have Labour never elected a women as leader?

cynic - 30 Apr 2018 17:47 - 80767 of 81564

who would you have? ....... harriet harman? ...... diane abbott?
at least HH would probably not be so willing to be led by the nose, as is corbyn, by the likes of mccluskey who in turn has or would have no objection to nkvd (or its successors) involvement

Never mind the story, read the comments: The contempt is huge.

Once upon at time in the west ?.....

Fred1new - 01 May 2018 09:14 - 80770 of 81564

A typical bunch of tory posers.

A pack of yesterdays or never-weres.

iturama - 01 May 2018 09:48 - 80772 of 81564

The Corbyn power look. The admiration is huge, sorry typo, ugh.

MaxK - 01 May 2018 09:51 - 80773 of 81564

Look at those legs, no wonder Diane went for a legover.

Fred1new - 01 May 2018 10:21 - 80774 of 81564

Max.

You seem to be jealous.

cynic - 01 May 2018 10:27 - 80775 of 81564

some what to my suprise, i note from the latest opion poll i saw - albeit evening standard but i think via MORI - that the parties are still level (surely labour should be 5/7% ahead on recent performances and scandals?) and corbyn's personal rating is now even lower than before the election

Classic Dianne Abbott . Yesterday .

jimmy b

I've just watched that.

Oh dear!

As Piers said, since she is Shadow Home Secretary now, there is a possibility that this very silly and utterly, mentally incompetent, fudging woman, could well become the Home Secretary after the next General Election.

I sincerely do believe we need a very clear thinking, clear speaking, clear explaining type of guy, like Jason Rees-Mogg, to take over a political party before the next election, and it has to be the Conservative Party.

jimmy b - 01 May 2018 11:07 - 80778 of 81564

very silly and utterly, mentally incompetent, fudging woman,
------------

You got that wrong Exec she's a lot more stupid than that !

Jacob would be the guy for me too.

cynic - 01 May 2018 11:08 - 80779 of 81564

is jason jacob's younger brother?

i like jrm a lot, but he comes across as so old-school patrician and supercilious (like fred, but from the otjher quarter), that he would be a disaster

KidA - 01 May 2018 11:11 - 80780 of 81564

Trump, Clinton, May, Corbyn - despised.

Clocktower - 01 May 2018 11:16 - 80781 of 81564

DA proves herself to be a plank time after time in front of the cameras. Is this the best the labour party can do?

Every time she opens her mouth JC must have nightmares.

cynic - 01 May 2018 11:59 - 80782 of 81564

depends why she's opening her mouth for him

Clocktower - 01 May 2018 12:27 - 80783 of 81564

LOL - Well it would only to be giving him support because I guess she might be of the view that he has few friends that would or maybe even could.

Dil - 01 May 2018 12:39 - 80784 of 81564

In all fairness he hasn't got a lot to choose from as most Labour MP's can't stand Corbyn or his policies.

Some real dickheads in his shadow cabinet.
