LONDON (AFX) - FFastFill PLC saw its pretax loss narrow in the six months to Sept 30 2003.

It said the past six months has been a period of consolidation and progress for the company providing a strong platform from which to launch its new application service offerings.

The results show a pretax loss of 1.2 mln stg compared with 2.6 mln and a massive 317 pct increase in turnover to 1.6 mln stg.

The group said it has made good progress in bringing forward the next generation of software; this is planned for delivery during the first half of 2004.

'We now have a strong pipeline, which will lead to more new customer signings later this financial year,' it added.

Cash at the end of September was 1.588 mln stg, down from 2.45 mln. No interim dividend is proposed.

Executive chairman Keith Todd said that, while budgets for IT expenditure in the financial services sector remain constrained, derivatives volumes are growing and prospects and customers are looking for efficiency improvements in the delivery of their technology.

'The board has confidence in the competitiveness of the company's software and services and in its ability to deliver its plans.'

Welcome skyhigh. FFA is one of those small stocks that I really feel has potential. So much so that I've sat on them through some pretty lean times and it'll take a lot of northwards momentum to get them anywhere near where I first bought in but I'm quietly confident.

We are living in a new world.. Paper work has all but gone to be replaced by software platforms that can support multiple asset classes.. This is FFastFills market place which is opening up a number of important strategic opportunities for the company with the major institutions.. To my mind FfastFill should expand over the next trading period..

Does anybody know who is considering a bid for ffastfill?

Must admit have weighed in & bought some more.

myway - 23 Jan 2007 19:26 - 97 of 123

Any idea on who is talking to FfastFill re a possible offer for the company? The 28 day period is just about up.. An announcement should be made this coming week.. Reuters could be in the frame to make a move?

myway - 29 Jan 2007 14:04 - 98 of 123

Ffastfill Plc Someone is looking at the books.. The Market Makers are holding the price at 7.88p which gives share-club-uk a profit of 111%. I have taken out the book price by selling off some shares. Now the big question is do I sell and take all of the profits or sit tight and wait for the outcome? Very soon we will find out the true intent of the company that has made the approach regarding a possible offerthe big question is the level of a bid.. If indeed there is a bid Any input please?.. deal or no deal? My own feeling is that FFA has a first class product. So I cannot see a fall in the S.P. in any case.. This week should be most interesting

myway - 05 Feb 2007 11:39 - 99 of 123

Ffastfill Plc Approach regarding a possible offer for the company Patsystems is suspected of having an interest in Ffastfill.. However there could be a number of different people looking at the company.. A major shareholder, even a Bank or a competitorInside track market sources news is that any offer at all would have to be in the region of 14p conservatively, so a bid between 14p to 25p would be needed to get the board interested. However with the cost base now fixed and profits around the corner (with no tax to pay for a while, as they have been making a loss for so long). Who knows what they could be worth going it alone......

Nice to see you on here as well myway. I bought FFA at 11p and they've headed south ever since so 14-25p would be great!
