Planestation (Ex Wiggins Group plc) (PTG)

Socrates - 10 Jan 2004 10:34

Time now for all us Wiggins watchers to move with the times and start using Planestation, the new company identity. The name Wiggins Group plc has now disappeared from the database at Companies House and Planestation is now listed on the LSE website.

So fellow travellers, forget Wiggins, the name of the game is now PLANESTATION. Lets hope it goes like an express train.

The BBC have commented on the LFG sale.
(as we know the 1.5M is a deposit - not the final sale figure)
Good luck
Eddie

What chances of Tote, when it goes public, or Victor Chandler pumping money in as partner at racecourse venue ?? Interesting reading Soc, as Burford looks a very viable and lucrative proposition. I wouldn`t mind getting on the list meself for a property there!! There are definitely better times beckoning for PTG.

It gets even better, new website for Kent International Airport, much more professional look and feel:

Thanks for the info.

It is sometime since I posted here but what has happened to the share price. Although not reverting to the lows of sometime ago there is concern though. Now that the BIP is virtually on stream awaiting for the EU to carry out the final checks we find ourselves without the influx of cargo. Surely we are about too witness more positive news!!!!!!!!!

Sad news that RAF Marham lost a Canberra T4 last week along with the pilot and co pilot in the 3CT Seats, sincerely hope they do not ground the rest of the fleet.

9.3 Million Crossing trade gone through.

Something happening!

Socrates - 08 Sep 2004 19:19 - 819 of 1086

How cross do you have to be to have a cross trade?

optomistic - 10 Sep 2004 18:02 - 820 of 1086

Todays trades shown as 11.5K buys 8.8 million sells. Share price unchanged, this must confirm it does not pay to read too much from the buy/sell columns as today would surely show a share price drop if they reflected the complete picture.

apple - 10 Sep 2004 18:46 - 821 of 1086

One of those was a 5.5million crossing trade.

optomistic - 10 Sep 2004 18:57 - 822 of 1086

Still quite a large % of sells Apple. A crossing trade, although I do not fully understand the meaning of 'crossing trade' is still a trade, if only between brokers.

A bit of light reading for those with an interest in aviation, EUjet gets a mention right at the end.

Heading for sub 5p

Canberra BI6 - 13 Sep 2004 16:06 - 825 of 1086

jeffmack, you are so right and I have suspected over the last fortnight we would drift below the oh so crucial 5p level. The masses are deserting in their droves but as I am a long term holder(VERY LONG)I am not worried.

optomistic - 13 Sep 2004 16:16 - 826 of 1086

Large volumes split 5.5 mil buys 4.1 mil sells, once again are the figures the full picture? AGM tomorrow at 9.00 am perhaps we will receive some encouraging news from there. If not, then what!!!

Canberra BI6 - 13 Sep 2004 16:30 - 827 of 1086

I guess back to the lows of last year I,m affraid, doom and gloom. MM must encourage cargo into KIA and once the BIP has had its final pass from the EU we should hopefully see a dramatic turnaround!!!!!!!

Thanks for that Eddie, its seems that everything is nicely in place over at Melbourne. This is info that could help the sentiment to PTG, it's a pity that the PR man, if we have one, hasn't posted this in the press.
