I am a little p.off with upgrades. Will I never learn to leave them in the box.

Optimist,
I think I logged in using 192.168.1.1 website, it as the passphrase but I can't see it just blackholes for letters, if I enter a new one will it be instant and will my Netgear still work with out me doing anything to it

-- ThePublisher,
Windows Search is abysmal - have a look at Effective File Search - http://www.sowsoft.com/search.htm. At $30 a copy, it's not cheap, but older versions are often available for nothing on PC Pro cover disks. Current version is 6.something. I'm happily using 2.1.4.

Optimist, thats the main reason I might have to enter a new passphrase because the one I got, I used a song title with a few missing words and used capitals and small letters, but everytime I enter it on other computer it says no
Update
Thought I'd sorted out other PC but now it seems to bring up a blue screen memory dump error or reboots itself when nothing is happening B***** B**** B***

Hi tech peeps.
I set up a desktop pc last night that's been in storage for about 2 years.
Everythign seems tiickerty boo, except the cd r drive, which doesn't want to open. It's as if it's got jammed.
Any quick fix solutions?

@KEAYDIAN a paperclip straightened out and pushed into the little round hole in the opening flap normally does the trick that is the way to open it.

Spend 500 on a 'refurbed laptop' with these people and they'll probably deliver it to you in a Rolls Royce or Bentley:
