LONDON (AFX) - Provexis PLC said it has entered into a long-term collaboration agreement with Unilever PLC to jointly develop a new concentrated format of its patented Fruitflow heart-health technology for application in Unilever's food product portfolio.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The partners plan to enter into a global licence arrangement for the technology.

Fruitflow is a patented natural extract from tomato which Provexis said has been shown in human trials to reduce the propensity for aberrant blood clotting that is typically associated with cardiovascular disease and which can lead to heart attack or stroke.

In 2005 the market for heart benefit foods was worth 4 bln usd globally, Provexis added.

Considering the growth potential this share has a target of about 8-10p in the medium tern and is a good buy at current levels

Out again....this is becoming a habit....the trouble is that the market makers and such might be pricing in the next rns with eec wording and such....job to guess which way this will go because market cap is hefty....and the sp could easily drop back to 7p in a matter of moments.

something brewing, got to be close to an rns now, am sitting tight not jumping ship now. Shit or bust thats me.....lol this won't lose money, unless it's delay or bad news. imo. BB

I reckon that if there is an rns (with good news) : take the profits in the first couple of hours....that's if you're lucky enough to be watching when that happens....I'm out at the moment....puzzled by this one....

Can`t see next rns being bad. As they have already said wording taking longer than anticipated, But now in advanced stages. Everything else points to the positive. Deals already done in background as said before here, Positive Aspirin trials etc etc. aimvho

quite brave ..... it's closed at a notional 10.00/10.25 but unless something appears o'night i would be quite surprised to see sp opening above say 9.75 mid
