THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Quite happy to say goodbye to the whorey party Max also for Millipede another Tory liar.

cynic - 12 Nov 2018 12:27 - 81321 of 81564

all markets now looking ever more weak to bleak
i confess i am now thinking that the odds on a snap GE are shortening sharply

Fred1new - 12 Nov 2018 12:40 - 81322 of 81564

Well, Well, Well!

Are you packing your bags for the Channel Isles, Cayman Isles or Panama?

cynic - 12 Nov 2018 12:42 - 81323 of 81564

why would i?
stupid boy!

in fact, if there is a GE within the next few months, my betting would be for yet another hung parliament
unfortunately, i fear the turnout will be depressingly low - it has not been that good for at least a decade or two - which tends to allow zealots of all hues to garner more votes than warranted

KidA - 12 Nov 2018 13:05 - 81324 of 81564

No point voting, we are left with direct action.

Fred1new - 12 Nov 2018 13:13 - 81325 of 81564

With luck, if that happened there "may be" a coalition government, with a few honest politicians sitting down at a table and appraising their "responsibilities" to the country as a whole and reviewing their policies and "Brexit".

If you haven't seen the program already, have a look at the series "World War 1 in colour" shown on SELECT channel.

Food for thought at the stupidity and false "pride" of politicians and various "elites".

KidA - 12 Nov 2018 13:42 - 81326 of 81564

Seen plenty of WW1, WW2, and the EU. Is it a case of the latter being unable to fathom they are largely responsible for the rise of the extremes or is it that they just can't accept their part?

Cheers,
KidA

cynic - 12 Nov 2018 14:41 - 81327 of 81564

who would you suggest for your cabinet then fred?

more to the point, even if "they" managed to speak and act altruistically - hahahaha! - what deal do you think they could or would dream up that would actually be accepted, not only by the EU plutocrats (who are intrinsically at least as self-serving and crooked as any), and would also be accepted with open arms by the UK population at large?

Fred1new - 12 Nov 2018 15:56 - 81328 of 81564

Manuel.

See Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

iturama - 12 Nov 2018 16:26 - 81329 of 81564

Don't ask Fred for an answer C. He only does questions and problems. He bangs on about stupid politicians and "elites" being responsible for WW1, then suggests putting together a coalition of "a few honest politicians", no doubt elites also, to do god knows what. The rest doesn't make sense.
Fred, in this country you still have to have a parliamentary majority to govern, cabals don't cut it, except in the likes of Venezuela. It was a clear majority of the people that decided to leave; now that is democracy in action in the face of the politicians and the "elites" who want otherwise. Get over it.

Covering the dirty tracks in Jersey again.

Wonder if this MU player has anything to do with this man that lives in Jersey?

Thought you might like to see a picture of Katie Price, seductively dressed in her jim-jams and putting some trash out:

Hmmm? Is she putting on a bit of weight?

My bin-men would not empty those bins left like that....would get a nasty note when the round came round....that's not proper recycling at all....

Stan - 14 Nov 2018 11:52 - 81333 of 81564

E/L...Just what do you think you are doing in Katie Price's garden then?

Clocktower - 14 Nov 2018 14:28 - 81334 of 81564

"seductively dressed in her jim-jams" if you call that look seductive you must be deluded.

Stan - 14 Nov 2018 14:31 - 81335 of 81564

Leave E/L alone he knows what he likes.

Clocktower - 14 Nov 2018 14:48 - 81336 of 81564

This might help E/L
