LATEST:Harry Redknapp says he has 'not even thought about' the England manager's job and is focusing on his work at Tottenham Hotspur
Harry Redknapp says he has not thought about succeeding Fabio Capello and insists his focus remains on Tottenham.
The Spurs boss spoke to media outside his house on Thursday after Capello quit as England manager on Wednesday.
"I've never thought about [the England job]," he said. "[The FA] will make whatever decision they want to make and hopefully it will be right for the country. Tottenham have been fantastic.

Harrycat...you are going to be perhaps the next England manager....feel sorry for Capello....we need a new generation of England players...not these overrated ones, who are not as good as the era with: Keegan, Francis, Brooking, Robson Lineker, Shearer, Barnes and many others.....at least, they played exciting football instead of the bang it upfield we see nowadays...yuck !...I also think that KK might be in the running as well for the job...deserves a second chance....perhaps, there was a bit too much of the other kind of banging going on as well.....too much nonsense off the field and not much to cheer on it !.

I don't feel sorry for anyone who is earning £6m p.a. and decides to open his mouth & jeopardise that, rf! But I wouldn't be surprised if F.C has already got a new job lined up anyway. The only mistake he has made is changing his salary from being paid in Sterling to being paid in trashy Euros (assuming he is staying in Europe)! Interesting that an England football manager gets paid more for running a part time football team than the P.M. does for running a country! Funny old world.

Going to watch Burnley can hardly be considered as watching a 'live game of football.'

LOL! You set yourself up for that one Stan! I see away to Southampton on saturday. Gonna be a tough one. I can't believe the bookies have Swansea as favourites against Norwich. Clueless!
