My one saving grace is that I am a dab-hand with a bottle, care for a re-load?

dotel - 20 Jun 2004 02:02 - 8176 of 23498

Hope that wasn't too quiet a whisper...a reload sounds good thanks

STORMCALLER - 20 Jun 2004 02:08 - 8177 of 23498

I am delighted, it gives me the chance to exhibit my one (and probably only) good point, I hope the earlier spillage didn't harm your confidence in me.

STORMCALLER - 20 Jun 2004 02:09 - 8178 of 23498

To my shame I missed the bit I was aiming at, didn't give me the opportunity to help dry....

dotel - 20 Jun 2004 02:11 - 8179 of 23498

I think you're being too modest, S...but it'll have to be one for the road, I have to be up very early (for a Sunday)

dotel - 20 Jun 2004 02:12 - 8180 of 23498

I'm not dry yet, S

STORMCALLER - 20 Jun 2004 02:15 - 8181 of 23498

Allow me to eagerly assist, and while I do, may I offer a commentary on the paradox of trying to get you wet inside, and dry outside. A beautiful strategem if I say so myself! If a little underhand, which I'm famous for.

STORMCALLER - 20 Jun 2004 02:16 - 8182 of 23498

Surely a re-fill is called for after all that activity.

dotel - 20 Jun 2004 02:22 - 8183 of 23498

I'm all but overcome...can we take the bottle with us whilst you whizz me home?
That's if there's room, of course

STORMCALLER - 20 Jun 2004 02:26 - 8184 of 23498

Only too happy to escort you, have often harboured inner concerns for your safety, leaving so late, but always felt unworthy to offer my humble services.
One other thing, I think I have made a truly great discovery, it's not my typing that's slow, it's my brain! That means all those concerns I had about diminishing dexterity are groudless, what a relief!
Are you ready to go now? let me get your coat.

dotel - 20 Jun 2004 02:29 - 8185 of 23498

You're so kind..

STORMCALLER - 20 Jun 2004 02:31 - 8186 of 23498

No, just fortunate, in my mind at any rate. I've turned the lights out.
Out of here!

jj50 - 20 Jun 2004 09:53 - 8187 of 23498

Good Morning all
My turn this morning GD to sweep out - those late night revellers are going to have to learn to pick up the bottles after them; I don't mind a few dirty glasses but bottles strewn everywhere is a bit much. At least there are no pistachio nuts or olive stones this morning, so should count myself lucky...

Don't expect anyone will be in for a while but have re-stocked fridge with fresh OJ, bacon, eggs, fresh rolls, etc. so help yourself till I get back.

jeffmack - 20 Jun 2004 10:04 - 8188 of 23498

Morning jj, I'm just off on a trip to Columbia Road Flower market

hilary - 20 Jun 2004 10:21 - 8189 of 23498

Glad to be of service, Little Winky. You'll need my new address if you want to send me some more fancy choccies.

:o)

Jeff,

I keep meaning to do Columbia Road on a Sunday morning. Enjoy. You'll have to let me know if it's good. We'd have maybe done it today even, except that we've got a sports induction event/thingy at Thomas's new school this afternoon.

stockbunny - 20 Jun 2004 10:24 - 8190 of 23498

JJ - I'll meet you down the wholesalers to help bring back the supplies..

Morning JeffMack - enjoy the flower market, bring us back some beautiful

hilary - 20 Jun 2004 10:27 - 8191 of 23498

Btw, Jeff. If I win the chimney pots, could you do me a favour please and pick them up for me?

:o)

stockbunny - 20 Jun 2004 10:42 - 8192 of 23498

Hi Hilary!

optomistic - 20 Jun 2004 13:35 - 8193 of 23498

Hi Bunny, been in a quiet reflective mood these last few days, making slight headway on the market, not doing too well on the horses (virtual only dont gamble live, get enough exitment on the LSE) Rained forever up here, hope its better down south. The Cafe at night, can you get a word in!!!
Lunch now, enjoy you day

STORMCALLER - 20 Jun 2004 14:22 - 8194 of 23498

Evening all..
Oh yes it is evening, I only visit in the evening.
Now for breakfast, jug of Orange Juice, ice, now! or I am going to doze off again.
stockbunny,
As a thank you for a delightful meal recently, I bought in a record to play,
HEARTBREAKER, SIDE ONE, TRACK ONE.....WISHING WELL
Play it loud, that base line will probably finish me off, but it will be worth it!
