Hi Bunny, been in a quiet reflective mood these last few days, making slight headway on the market, not doing too well on the horses (virtual only dont gamble live, get enough exitment on the LSE) Rained forever up here, hope its better down south. The Cafe at night, can you get a word in!!!

Socrates - 20 Jun 2004 15:33 - 8196 of 23498

Jeffmack
"Her indoors" had the programme on, I presume you mean the programme about No. 1 Squadron and their Hurricanes. I've worked on Hurricanes, and Spitfires. Just before you make any untoward comments, they were Battle of Britain Flight aircraft.

Stockbunny
No problem, I can't remember what help I gave you anyway. Senior moment and all that!

stockbunny - 20 Jun 2004 15:38 - 8197 of 23498

Socco - you cleared up a query I had about Sharecrazy (couldn't leave
you wondering what it was, senior moment or not..) I've finally managed
to get into the Q&A section of the site now so am busy reading up.

Ok I'm outta here - I'll leave the music booming if you like....No?
Oh ok then......Bye!!!

jeffmack - 20 Jun 2004 18:26 - 8198 of 23498

Well Columbia Road Flower market is well worth a visit. Great variety of plants and very very cheap. Stall holders are very helpful and we got there about 11:30 and they were already marking the prices down.

We bought 6 large Geraniums 5, 6 foxgloves 5, 2 trays of Lobelia 2 each and a large Acer for 25. Plus a couple of pots.

jeffmack - 20 Jun 2004 18:27 - 8199 of 23498

Hilary
Had a couple of chimney pots stolen from the front garden recently so looking to replace them. Will chain these ones to the tree.

Your comment did make me laugh though.

Golddog - 20 Jun 2004 22:31 - 8200 of 23498

jj, Thanks for helping sweep up around the Cafe - i will now take out the 25 bags of empty bottles to the bins. You can sit down and put your feet up and i will make you a nice cuppa tea and then if you are lucky i will massage your feet with my paws.

bunny, I see you bought back a good supply of food stock, we should be in for a good week of scrumy food. Not sure what we should do with the zebra meat?

Hilary, Any chance of seeing you in your boots? You know i love it.

dotel, Size 13 shoe?

:-)

Now if you don't mind i will sit by the fire and roast me nuts.

STORMCALLER - 20 Jun 2004 22:40 - 8201 of 23498

GD,
Don't worry about the zebra crossing that bridge when we come to it is best.
SC

STORMCALLER - 20 Jun 2004 22:44 - 8202 of 23498

Golddog - 20 Jun 2004 22:45 - 8203 of 23498

SC, Yes good idea, i shall put the zebra with the buffalo and maybe we could have a wild African feast night! all dress up in costume and all that. 'I say let's go shoot a Tiger', and all that!!

Golddog - 20 Jun 2004 22:47 - 8204 of 23498

I was a very good dog today, took my dad out for Fathers day! So i suppose i should really go and fetch him back! (mutley snigger).

STORMCALLER - 20 Jun 2004 23:05 - 8205 of 23498

Golddog - 20 Jun 2004 23:07 - 8206 of 23498

The Investment Team Game will be coming soon and obviously i would like an all girl Team and the other teams to have some kind of theme? One team could consist of the horse racing fans, i.e hightone, jeffers, little willie, dazling dave and fundy? any ideas for other teams?

Golddog - 20 Jun 2004 23:09 - 8207 of 23498

STORMCALLER - 20 Jun 2004 23:12 - 8208 of 23498

Golddog - 20 Jun 2004 23:18 - 8209 of 23498

I will no longer be a youngster come this Saturday when i turn 30. May i join the league of old gentleman and retire into pipe smoking and long nose hair.
A pint of Bods would be very welcome.

STORMCALLER - 20 Jun 2004 23:24 - 8210 of 23498

Have no fear child, a millenium ago when I passed that yardstone, I discovered it held no demons, 'twas indeed the first faltering step to wisdom, and beyond.
Here is your beer, keep drinking it, for that path leads to greatness, or perhaps the toilet.
