sem3 - 08 Aug 2005 16:46 - 8207 of 27111

Anybodys guess, but the last three late trades add up to 1,000,000

driver - 08 Aug 2005 16:50 - 8208 of 27111

What's going on in Balamory

Chiva20 - 08 Aug 2005 16:51 - 8209 of 27111

I think we need someone with heaps of experience to explain this one?? Anyone seen this kind of thing before? What usually happens with this kind of thing?

Sharesure - 08 Aug 2005 16:52 - 8210 of 27111

The WT might be buys worked at during the day so I don't think much can be drawn from them. The strenght in the sp suggests tomorrow will bring another RNS

driver - 08 Aug 2005 17:09 - 8211 of 27111

P Trade is a Protected Portfolio Transaction so could be a buy; the WT trades may also be buys and properly are with the sp up most of the day. That only leaves the 150k sell O trade hence the .25 drop. Its not rocket science.
Roll on tomorrow.

I hope me water does not get contaminated with all this alcohol

Well driver - I would like to believe your anaylsis of those trades - but not totally convinced myself.

What I found interesting was that for most of the afternoon the offer price showed as 21.75 - and the mid point also showed as 21.75.
Right on the bell - when all of the trades came through - the offer price rose to 22 - but the mid price dropped to the same as the bid price at 21.5.

Still trying to get the hang of level 2. Shortly after the close, with the mid-price at 21.5p the bid price was also 21.5p and the offer 22p. I think the most likely explantion is that several MMs had closed up shop, thus withdrawing any lower offer price. It does seem quite likely, though, that the mid-price will open at 21.75p.

Not sure, Baza, about the water and wine; may you have the capacity to turn water into wine? If your waters predict an RNS, what will your wines do; perhaps they will produce the Wal-Mart announcement! Anyway, keep focussed! What should happen tomorrow is the Evolution post; its imminenece would be bound to affect Evo's position as MMs and thus the other market makers. That may explain the strength in the price today; not sure why any of tehm should be aware of an imminent RNS unless Tim Freeborn has dug that out and reported it. Anyway, exciting times ahead. Hold on for the ride! Even dogs should be on board, properly lashed in of course. ii can wallow outside, wailing and gnashing his teeth - if he has any as he he speaks with forked tongue as do other devils.

Maybe he looks like this Eric..

EWRobson - 08 Aug 2005 21:46 - 8216 of 27111

Definitely the best portrait yet, Jimmy. Perhaps that is what he would like us to think he looks like, ready to suck our blood dry. I suspect when you unpeel the outer skin a poor, pathetic little creep crawly will emerge, just as in Dr Who!

PM1 said that he had spoken to tim at evo's and said he had written a note. this is not true as i spoke to tim today and he said he will not be doing a note until 'the real stuff' is announced, so dont expect any notes on the evo research page but he is obviously expecting some good news|

bhunt1910 - 09 Aug 2005 07:23 - 8220 of 27111

Well looksa like me waters got contaminated last night - never mind - quit whilst I am ahead

Another lovely start to the day down south

bhunt1910 - 09 Aug 2005 10:30 - 8222 of 27111

Morning all - looks like we are in for another boring day - could be a good day to catch up on some reading and relax in the garden - followed by a BBQ

Anybody received the papers for the EGM yet ? - I gather they have been distributed

EWRobson - 09 Aug 2005 12:01 - 8224 of 27111

Quite a nice steady market today with MMs looking positive. No posts from ii which is great - we can do without the charlatan; let him stew in his own vitriol!

Basa: you have done well; waters are always untrustworthy, unlike a good Rioja, or, better, pinit noir!
