I will no longer be a youngster come this Saturday when i turn 30. May i join the league of old gentleman and retire into pipe smoking and long nose hair.
A pint of Bods would be very welcome.

Have no fear child, a millenium ago when I passed that yardstone, I discovered it held no demons, 'twas indeed the first faltering step to wisdom, and beyond.
Here is your beer, keep drinking it, for that path leads to greatness, or perhaps the toilet.

Oh yes the wisdom of age is a great gift indeed! if only we could be born with it? but then without lessons of life what boring people we would become!
The lessons of love
The lessons of fortune
The lessons of pain
The lessons of life itself
and the lesson of Bods naturally.

Never found the second one, and of course the last one requires a lifetime of study

The wisdom of age, hmmmm, try this for size:
Regard your good name as the richest jewel you can possibly be possessed of - for credit is like fire; when once you have kindled it you may easily preserve it, but if you once extinguish it, you will find it an arduous task to rekindle it again. The way to gain a good reputation is to endeavor to be what you desire to appear.

Socrates,
Once again we are in awe and wonderment. (Bowing low and withdrawing gracefully to the bar)

Socs,
(Guinness in hand) I would value your view on the supposed corollary to your wonderful enlightenment, ie that to tell the truth means you never have to remember what you said.

While it's quiet, I think I'd better repair these speakers, stockbunny's retro-blast earlier has played havoc with the sound system, 3 base drivers still smouldering, shocking behaviour, loved every minute.

Thirsty work this, I'll have a refill. Shame I can't test the sound kit, probably get complaints this time of night.

I'll tidy up a bit, ironic really, for once I didn't make a mess, still, it's only fair.

This tidying up is hard work, I'm worn out, mind you, I was when I came in, best go and get a well earned rest.

Jeff,
25 for the Acer seems good. My mother-in-law paid 50 for hers a couple of years ago at the local nursery. Btw, you seem to be running in 2nd place for the chimney pots, atm.
:o)
Poochy,
I've got several pairs of boots. Any particular ones that you'd like me to wear?
Oh. A bit late now, but hello Bunny Girl, btw.

Hello back to Hilary - what's 24 hours or so between friends (lol)
Oh GD 30.....30!!! You wee nipper you, make the most of it, 35
creeps up quickly and then 40 which is hard to accept (well it
was for the bunny here!) No, enjoy it my friend, live long and prosper...
Zebra? What on earth is that doing in the fridge? I didn't order that...
Are you sure it is really there and isn't a French version of a
certain undergarment written on the order....thought that wholesaler
looks a bit dodgy & creepy!
Socco and Stormy I hope you will continue to bring untold wisdom
to the tea-rooms...you could always write it down of course....
(hee-hee!) OK I'm off to do a couple of bits and bobs...back shortly..

I like to put in a bid to see how much interest there is. Wont bid again til last minute if the price is right.
You still holding DES, I think most people got out when it was about 17p first time around. Might sell half into todays rise and run half.
Ciao

Brrr...it's chilly out there!!
A day when a hot jacket potato filled with grated cheddar and coleslaw
is definitely required!

Eh Gads! Popped back in some 4 hours later to find no-one's been
in - have we had the environmental health people round or something?
Have the kitchens been shut down?
Has the 5 minute warning siren gone off and I've missed it?
Even the ghost isn't rattling about!

Afternoon Bunny!
Afternoon!
Good day?
Yes managed to sell some SCTN for a nice little profit!
Great, good for you!
They say the first sign of madness is talking to yourself,
(some say it's willingly having kids, but I think that's cruel!)
Or is the first sign being a cyber rabbit????
(Well what about cyber dogs or cyber anything....hmmmmm)
Think I need another drink...
