Lifted from another site - more to come - with thanks to "trucking duck"

From the Circular :

Biotec has commercial license agreement with a company called Earthshell. Earthshell was granted an exclusive worldwide license covering the technology and related I P rights for the use and commercial exploitation of food service disposable products, being disposable products for the packaging, storing, or serving of food or beverages intended for consumption within a sort period of time.

..

The minimum monthly royalty pre-payment fee is $100,000 payable to Biotec by earthshell plus 25% of any sub-licensing revenues earned by Earthshell & 5% of the net annual sales of the products.

Slightly confused here as earthshell will seem to clash with Starpool would it not ?

Whats the betting SEO are after buying Earthshell ?, these may explain the reasons for the EGM and special resolutions regarding increased funding etc etc, any thoughts ?

....and again

"OWINGS MILLS, Md., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Sweetheart Cup Company Inc., one of the
largest manufacturers of single-use food service disposables in North America, announced
today the signing of a definitive licensing agreement with EarthShell Corporation.
Under the terms of the agreement, Sweetheart will receive an exclusive license for the
manufacture and sale of EarthShell Packaging products to key market segments in North
America and EarthShell Corporation will receive royalty payments on all products sold.
Sweetheart will become the primary supplier of EarthShell Packaging plates, bowls, cups
and hinged-lid sandwich containers in North America. The agreement is for an initial ten-
year period. Sales are planned to begin in the third quarter of next year, and
Sweetheart has agreed to incremental performance goals for sales over the first five
years ramping-up to $500 million annually.

Sweetheart intends to purchase and own the capital equipment necessary to produce plates,
bowls and cups for the general market and hinged-lid sandwich containers for a variety of
major market segments, to include quick service restaurants, convenience stores, food &
food service distributors and contract management companies and others. The agreement is
conditioned upon Sweetheart placing initial equipment orders by the end of the month, for
delivery during the second quarter of 2003. Sweetheart intends to install the initial
equipment within the current EarthShell production facility in Owings Mills, Maryland.

"Sweetheart believes that this is one of the most significant developments in the food
service packaging industry in years," said Thomas Uleau, chief operating officer of
Sweetheart. "EarthShell Packaging offers customers competitively priced, high-performing
disposables with significant environmental advantages. Sweetheart is enthusiastic about
its leadership role which will enable our customers to be among the first to use these
unique environmental disposables made from a revolutionary new composite material. We
believe this will be a very profitable venture for Sweetheart while offering our
customers something better."

"Formalizing our relationship with Sweetheart for the North American market represents
the achievement of an important milestone for both of our organizations," said Vincent J.
Truant, president and chief operating office of EarthShell Corporation. "Sweetheart's
sales and distribution prowess will provide EarthShell Packaging a perfect opportunity
for rapid penetration into a variety of important and strategic food service market
segments."

Sweetheart is a leading force in providing high-quality disposable packaging to
businesses and consumers. Management believes the strength of its leadership position,
coupled with a long history of manufacturing and marketing expertise, will give
Sweetheart an important advantage as an EarthShell operating licensee."

Hi All,

Starpol 2000 looking better value by the day !!!!

Dryden research just released a note on Brent Crude, suggesting the Oil price could reach $84 a barrel this year, if it does not fall back from the current high .... which they seem to think it won't ....

Crude Oil (Brent): $61.98 Potential high for Crude Oil (Brent). The Crude Oil (Brent) price has now arrived at levels, which should determine the immediate outlook. It has risen to the upper trend line of a rising wedge (bearish) and appears to have completed five wave patterns from the lows of 13th December 2004, 23 May 2005 and 21st July 2005. If the high is in place we can expect the Oil price to decline to test the 23rd May 2005 low if not the December 2004 low before rallying to make new highs. However the seasonal bias is for the oil price to continue higher into October before correcting into December (highlighted on the chart). If it holds true this year then price targets at $84 come into play.

Cheers,
PM
