The last drop is for you, sir. One shoe tucked in each pocket now...albeit a little precariously.

I shall make sure you don't lose them, I have to go now, may I take the liberty of offering you escort?

zarif - 22 Jun 2004 07:25 - 8272 of 23498

GD _ Full English Breakfast for me please.
a very good morning to all

hilary - 22 Jun 2004 07:52 - 8273 of 23498

Jeff,

Of course you can come to the party. I'll go on the old Joanna, my little girl will do karaoke. You could bring some castanets. Little Winky could come too. Doesn't he do a bit of jazz? Trombone or Sax or something??

Kayak - 22 Jun 2004 08:33 - 8274 of 23498

Zebra on the menu, is that right? Is that not just a painted horse?

little willie - 22 Jun 2004 08:53 - 8275 of 23498

Hils...Just arrived, think I've missed something, whats 'appening?
Have you moved and are having a party?
Yup, wadda you want, double bass, mandolin, guitar, Sax [v.rusty but just about recognisable], Tea chest, wash board [well into skiffle] and making a complete prat of myself 'a la Melly'!!

Moody, overcast day here, sun attempting to peep through, I think it will make it.
Watched some of 1st day of Wimbledon yesterday, 12 minutes before 'rain stop play', understand it was 1st rain for a month; life's a bitch!!
So,only another two weeks before the glorious summer resumes for you all.

Where's everyone orf to for their summer hols this year? Bet Socs is staying put or off to Kent, sensible chap.
Mrs. lw returns to UK mid July for 6 weeks, I go over for 4 weeks on 1st Aug,
another probable rainy time!!

hilary - 22 Jun 2004 09:04 - 8276 of 23498

Nothing to get too excited about, Little Winky. Yes, I have moved recently and wondered if you might want my new address so that you could send me some more fancy choccies for the DES tip.

As for the party, I've been winding Jeff up by bidding against him on E-Bay for some manky old chimney pots that he's after. He was having a nose around and saw that I'd picked up a karaoke machine for my little girl.

:o)

little willie - 22 Jun 2004 12:46 - 8277 of 23498

Hilts..Don't think the chocs would be up to the quality of the Antwerp ones, also don't know if you can get white chocolate over here...lol...however will soon be in the new gaff [within the month] so if you, +/- J & +/-Rugrats are ever over here you'll have a fancy drum to stay in; in the most beautiful place in the world!!! WILL THAT DO YOUR HIGHNESS????

Poor old Jeffers, when we left UK we gave away about twenty old chimney stack pipes of various ages that G used as garden pots; always down to me to water the bloomin' plants in them!!!!! I don't miss 'em!

little willie - 22 Jun 2004 12:47 - 8278 of 23498

Hilts...where you abiding now?

hilary - 22 Jun 2004 13:19 - 8279 of 23498

See what you mean about the choccies, Little Winky. Hohumm. Never mind.

I might well take you up on your offer of a gaff to stay in. Friends visited the Winelands over Xmas and said how great it was. I'll give you a 24 hour crash course in trading in return for a couple of weeks stay at Palace Winky. How does that sound? And will it be ok to skinny dip in the pool?

:o)

We've not moved far ..... just to the other side of the A23.

snoball - 22 Jun 2004 14:25 - 8280 of 23498

I've been asked to crew across the Bay of Biscay in a 37 foot Moody, little willy.
That's a nice size yacht, landlubbers.
I'm tempted to take up the offer but may not be able to as my daughter is visiting from Canada.
Also I have to finish the porch.

Socs, if your bmw is anything like my porch it wont get through its next MOT.
I can't get my porch mot'd.

little willie - 22 Jun 2004 15:30 - 8281 of 23498

WEEAAAHHH Hilts.....Purley Queen eh? Knocked 'em dawn the awld Kent Rawd!!!

jj50 - 22 Jun 2004 15:37 - 8282 of 23498

You are welcome to cross the Bay of Biscay snoball!! Used to have a 36 foot ketch (Contest) and the happiest day of my life was when we sold it! Perhaps it would have been better in the Med but we sailed in Southern Brittany and Friesian Islands and it was cold, cold, cold ......... I have to admit though a Moody is a nice boat, but the Bay of Biscay .... no thanks. You are made of sterner stuff than me.

Socrates - 22 Jun 2004 17:13 - 8283 of 23498

Good evening one and all. It's hard to keep up with all the posts on here recently. Such activity has not been seen since the old days on "the other bb". All we need now is Ashley to show a leg and it will be a full house.

Mind you, the foods better in here.

snoball
I thought the wheels had fallen off your porch but it's worse than that, is it?

Hilary
Hi, where you been hiding? Must stop winding Jeffmack up, these IT types can be a funny lot, next thing you know your bank statement will come out printed in Chinese!

hilary - 22 Jun 2004 17:33 - 8284 of 23498

Hello Old Socs. I haven't been hiding anywhere ........ I just don't seem to post as much nowadays. There's no particular reason for that.

I wouldn't worry too much about Jeffmack. He'll be too busy doing important things like pushing his sterling silver tea trolley along the Corridors of Power to worry about me outbidding him for some naff bits of old clay.

Socrates - 22 Jun 2004 17:49 - 8285 of 23498

Hilary
You're probably right, silver tea trolley? Whatever next!

jeffmack - 22 Jun 2004 19:22 - 8286 of 23498

Socs
Hilarys too busy counting her money these days.

Socrates - 22 Jun 2004 19:25 - 8287 of 23498

Jeffmack
I'm sure Hilary would employ an accountant to do that whilst she basks in the sun.
