I have picked up a few of these and am pleased with the steady rise. This is the holding company which owns Ofex and in Dec-more mm's will be joining it to make it a stronger competitor for LSE and Aim markets. Well known market firms seem to be investing in this one but so far small investors and analysts are not taking much interest. I'm in early as I think it will do well---any comments from regulars on here?

PMK up 7% this morning; maybe someone else has thought of the implications of the bid for LSE.

Squidd-very happy with this one the company will as you say grow like topsy while the bull market holds-not so sure if the market turns!

We're in good company; a big director buy at the going rate announced at the close.

JAH: In case you are looking in, this is to remind you to keep PMK on your watchlist. This morning's rise may be linked to the bidding war for the LSE, with people imagining that LSE is in some kind of limbo.

Another nice move up again today.
Moneyplus or Anyone else, do you know the reason for the EGM?? What's driving these rises???

The steep rise is probably due to the latest results that will be presented at the AGM; it's anybody's guess what the EGM is all about.
Meanwhile, although we have all been saying that PMk is too small to be noticed, currently 1/60th the size of the LSE, that perception surely must change at some point. Predators such as NASDAQ and NYSE looking at the LSE, presumably will look beyond the 300 year old building and examine the various trading platforms and they must then notice little PMK. Perhaps this is happening right now.

I read a piece somewhere-money week I think or perhaps the Mail saying trading is going great guns with more mms signing up and many more companies wanting to float. they trade Aim as well as Ofex now and are providing stiff competition to the lse. I'm definitely holding for the long term-exciting prospects IMO.

JAH: The trouble with living down here is the New Forest owls who call me at around this time with important info about investing. Problem is I can't make out what the're saying; I thought at one time it was YOO, and that proved to be a costly mis-translation.
Anyway, glad to learn that PMK is on your watch list though sorry to hear you're not aboard 'cos I think this is going to keep climbing. It should be at least 1/10th the size of the LSE - so a sp of 1+, and this may be reached in early summer. Then the institutions will notice it and want a slice, which will push the sp to 2 or more. However, I have been known to get it wrong and wouldn't advise you to buy at these levels. Meanwhile, my charts are telling me that it's time for the laws of gravity to re-assert themselves and bring about a correction. If this happens and the sp drops, say10% for a few days, that might be the time to jump aboard. I will look to be topping up on any dips.

JAH: In case you followed me into PMK, this is to let you know that I sold all during the week for my biggest ever gain. I still think PMK has great potential, but I worried that the high flyers would be in the firing line should the "Sell in May" brigade appear.

PMK Growth continues:
LONDON (AFX) - PLUS Markets Group PLC said it has extended its stock coverage to include 50 of the constituents of the FTSE 250, in response to customer demand.
This brings the total number of securities traded on PLUS to over 800, comprising over 670 small and mid-caps quoted elsewhere in London and some 160 companies quoted on its own primary market -- currently known as Ofex, soon to be known as PLUS.
PLUS also said that Bloomberg have commenced carrying PLUS data and that Numis Securities has joined as market maker.
Also joining PLUS as broker dealer members are Redmayne Bentley and The Share Centre, it added.
PLUS is an independent London equity trading service, based on a quote-driven system, for publicly traded securities.

Plus has been falling for several days now, little by litle it's becommiing a trend. I'm not at all happy with their confusion-adding Re-naming of Ofex and wonder if this hasn't taken too much Executive time?. It didn't need changing and adds nothing to its value IMHO.
What it does is make folk think OFEX stock has changed and maybe PLUS with it, time to take a profit and move on. If it keeps falling that;s what I'll do - you can only take so much without comment from the Company.
(their last comment was on "Options", perhaps I should have seen sp trouble brewing..Options are a worthless imposition on investors)
