No-one about, that means I'm shouting at myself again, nuts.
Still, at least I won't get caught shooting the crap out of my tantrum allowance for this month........doesn't help.
I'll have a refill

STORMCALLER - 26 Jun 2004 02:27 - 8391 of 23498

Think I had better sneak out now......

But before I go I must be the first to wish GOLDDOG

A HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Socrates - 26 Jun 2004 10:04 - 8392 of 23498

Good morning all, anyone for a full English breakfast? Heart attack on a plate, super stuff. Raining here in Cheltenham which is sad as No. 1 son and his wife are camping out in Glastonbury.

snoball - 26 Jun 2004 10:55 - 8393 of 23498

Morning Socs.
I'll have one of those FEB's if I may.
I didn't think married people went to Glastonbury.

little willie - 26 Jun 2004 11:05 - 8394 of 23498

Morning Socs, Sarf Africa calling...raining here as well if its any constellation! You've confirmed what mrs.lw keeps a'tellin me, age creeps up on you.
Went to the first four or five Glastonburys myself, played support on 2nd year, they only had 2 stages then [main + club] proceeds went to CND, run by a bloke, Michael Eavis? or summit like that, v. nice chap, gave us a few bob and fantastic bacon butties from his own farm animals, wunnerful stuff.
Invariably it always either rained persistently or was so 'ot that living under canvas was no fun, bit like you aircrew in Malta, Tobruk etc looking after the 'Spits'.

Anyway, if there's any 'hot trough' left I'm up for a greasy plateful..
luvvly jubbly...

Fundamentalist - 26 Jun 2004 12:15 - 8395 of 23498

I sank too deep into a barrel of brandy and it's taken this long
to find my way out!! Well Rats to it! is all I can say - come Monday
it's Another Day Another Opportunity!! (fingers crossed)

Ahh..amid the rain there comes a bright spot to the day!!
Just watched someone who lives in the street leave to get married,
Ahh...two beautiful horses and a carriage and a beautiful bride!
Ahh...Romance is offically NOT dead in our grey corner of Middx!

Socrates - 26 Jun 2004 15:45 - 8398 of 23498

Hello again, just returned from trolley racing at Tesco's once again. I can't believe I'm eating more so why does the bill keep going up.

STORMCALLER - 26 Jun 2004 16:15 - 8399 of 23498

If the mighty SOCRATES cannot answer that, what chance for us mere immortals?

Fundamentalist - 26 Jun 2004 16:18 - 8400 of 23498

Something strange landed in my garden this morning........

its alright - it was only Beckhams penalty!!!!!

STORMCALLER - 26 Jun 2004 16:20 - 8401 of 23498

Fundy,
Where do you live, thought I got first bounce?

brockman - 26 Jun 2004 21:08 - 8402 of 23498

Evening, poor David, it was a lumpy surface ;o)

Socrates - 26 Jun 2004 21:53 - 8403 of 23498

Wasn't it lumpy for everyone!

What he needs is a good dose of sherry trifle.

brockman - 26 Jun 2004 22:08 - 8404 of 23498

Yes, it was lumpy for everyone but he was the first one to find out how lumpy the lump was, he could then tell his team mates that the lump way indeed very lumpy.
I kinda feel for him. I wouldn't want to be the first to find out about the lump.
Can i have the sherry trifle instead?

brockman - 26 Jun 2004 22:15 - 8405 of 23498

Coz, if you think about it, it won't matter how much you squash the lump down, when you charge at it and thump your foot down near the ball, the lump is gonna pop up again! I've had this with spots ;o) I know!

STORMCALLER - 26 Jun 2004 22:30 - 8406 of 23498

brockman,
I can honestly say that in all the years I have been wielding my sonic screwdriver it has never let ANYONE down, nor indeed induced giggles of any kind, but I am always willing to give it another try.......
After a Guinness of course....
And maybe a snack..
After last night I need it

brockman - 26 Jun 2004 22:34 - 8407 of 23498

It's all in the wrist action Stormie ;o)
Still waiting for my trifle!

STORMCALLER - 26 Jun 2004 22:40 - 8408 of 23498

Who is trifling with you in this despicable fashion?

brockman - 26 Jun 2004 22:40 - 8409 of 23498

lol
