How to profit from Betting Exchanges (BEX)

How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?

Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

There you go, if Fulham hadn't have netted in the 90th would have been 3/4 matches drawn.

Edward

I think your query relates to new terms and conditions attached to Betfair's sign up in Australia which we all have to agree to in order to proceed.

I picked this up yesterday and had to agree.

You may have inadvertently clicked onto the " I disagree box" ???

Fundamentalist - 01 Feb 2006 14:16 - 8410 of 10502

fine here, have already managed to jump on board two barges drifiting up the river :-)

as others have mentioned, maybe worth revisiting the terms and conditions update

Fundamentalist - 01 Feb 2006 14:21 - 8411 of 10502

Fundamentalist - 01 Feb 2006 15:02 - 8413 of 10502

this was 1 i looked at yesterday as a potential one that could well shorten - instead it went from 4 to 12, given no chance in the race having been shoved out the back then ran on really well - could be one to watch next time out

Harlosh - 01 Feb 2006 16:04 - 8414 of 10502
