I have borrowed this from another board so cannot take the credit, a good one for the newbies.
So whats the fuss? well PCM is basically a tv production company with production resources and satalite channels in the far-east/asia. The current aim being to aquire a license to copy the format of successful UK shopping channels owned by Sit-up.tv.
PCM already has an Asian based direct marketing TV channel, but requires the bid-up/price-drop license to be able to take advantage of the successful UK formula in Asia.
The theory being that the market is 10x larger and therefore profit potential 10x larger in Asia. Looking at the financial turn-around of sit-up.tv over a three year period (which with the expertise of media giants such as the expected arrival of Edgar Bronfman), PCM could could achieve a profit in less than 2years. Estimated revenues into Billions of pounds it doesn't take too much thought to realise PCM could soon become one large company.
The deal is not yet in the bag officially, but is as good as signed IMO. The share-price will re-rate. I'm in long for 4 - 5 years for a multi-bagger. The shareprice will always bounce given there are billions in issue and its quite widely held, so always opportunities to take profit into swings / buy low sell high etc... i.e. excellent trading opportunities.
Worst results ever just cleared and the market has reacted. i.e. virtually no reaction. Looks set for a rise in 2005 towards 0.5p.

Driver: Have checked PCM's TV direct marketing site reported in your post 82.
It looks like the Asian ASOS. Hope E.W.R. is watching.

I think there'll be plenty of time to join in--we'll have to wait for the sales and profits to come in. If it goes the way of ASC it'll be well worth it and we'll have joined at the bottom! well not quite for me as I bought some years and years ago at around 10p--just relieved they are coming back from the dead!!

Hi, folk; heard a rumour I'd been mentioned on this bb! moneyplus is quite right, she usually is: I've been playing too much golf and, in fact, I seem to be running the golf club.
Yes, I did buy a 'starter stake', on the basis that it seemes to have a lot of potential and I find you follow a share much more effectively if you have a stake. Don't see it as an Asian ASOS as rather more like Ideal Direct, although none the worse for that. If they make the breakthrough then it could mean big numbers. Good to be based in Hong Kong and none the worse for the Jewish backing.
In terms of value, the conversion of the MediaXposure debt into equity implies a valuation of $16m, somewhat less than the present cap. But that is under 'pre-existing terms'. MediaXposure have provided additional funding so they can't think they are throwing good money after bad. Really looked upon this as one to tuck away; certainly if you compare with a year ago there now does seem to be real potential. The billions of shares is reminiscent of HCEG but, if so, that's not a bad model; likely to be a consolidation at some stage which tends to be attractive for the bigger players.
Good luck all, including me!

I decided to throw my profit money into this and let it mature. As everyone points out lot's of upside potential here.

driver read the update RNS. Deal should be announced prior to June 30th. Expect reason for the delay was the takeover of Sit-Up by Telewest.
