again.

bhunt1910 - 22 Aug 2005 18:17 - 8463 of 27111

Aaaaah - but its Tuesday tomorrow - and you never know what might happen - maybe an RNS??

bosley - 22 Aug 2005 18:34 - 8464 of 27111

i don't think so , baza. i hope i'm wrong , but i think we are just going to have to wait for the egm statement.

bosley - 22 Aug 2005 18:36 - 8465 of 27111

baza, take a look at icu. got some last week and it's doing ok. could be a good one.

Hi All,

Anyone watch the close today ????

The mid shot up to 1p up, then dropped back to .5p up, then back to 1p up, then back to .75p up, and all in the space of a minute, and the bid and ask were the wrong way round, and both below the mid at one point !

I reckon the 1m, 1.5m and 600k are all buys, so only .5m sold today.

Blue start tomorrow, buying on speculation of news next tuesday, could be 28p by friday, following a similar rise on the speculation of a Wal-Mart or Tetrapack deal at the beginning of May '05 :)

Next weekend is going to be one VERY long weekend for SEO shareholders :))))

Cheers,
PM

paul

suggest you watch the closing auction which will explain your post.

SELECT Packaging Systems has released the G.Mondini E365 tray sealer, designed to meet the needs of small to medium size manufacturers.

I take it that the G.Mondini is the same as the one linked to Stanelco.

PTH Hi,

Yeah, but what a weird series of price moves for SEO, I have never seen it move to such extremes, so quickly.

Cheers,
PM

Greekman Hi,

Yes that is correct, but does this machine have RF ?

Cheers,
PM

paulmasterson1 - 23 Aug 2005 08:06 - 8471 of 27111

Greekman Hi,

This piece is from one of the links at the bottom of that page, and has some very useful information on tray lidding, MAP, and environmental issues for tray lidding plastics.

Cheers,
PM

Lifting the lid on tray technology

The fast-growing trend towards convenient and immediate eating by time-starved consumers has not spared tray and lid manufacturers. Arjun Ramachandran writes for Packaging.

Paul, morning.

Yes did see the other article. Makes very interesting reading. It all points to the fact that all companies are looking increasingly to lower cost, more environmentally friendly and better appeal to the customer. RF re SEO fits the bill nicely. Although cant find out any mention of the G.Mondini E365 tray sealer, having RF can't see any reason why it can't be adapted if not already so. Makes you wonder how much info is going to be released next Tuesday. Could and I stress could be a hat full.

Good link Paul

Pity SEO and Biotec, Greenseal and Starpol didn't get a mention by name in that article. However, it is encouraging to see that there is a tsunami of opinion and demand for more environmentally acceptable packaging products developing which will be good for SEO's future business.

Questions for those who may be attending the EGM.

Can you please ask the directors as to what their (private) water cooler discussions indicate the future individual contributions to the group's turnover and profits will be from Greenseal, Biotec, Starpol and Frogpack?

And whether they think the latest forecast of EVO indicating a 6m pbt against an earlier one of 11.6m pbt is realistic or just over cautious. Or would they amend that upwards?

What percentiage of the Greenseal business is likely to come from the US, Europe, Asia (including India and China) and the rest of the world.

It would be useful if those attending had a full list of questions to ask and then shared them amongst themselves, ticking of the questions as they go to ensure that all are covered. They would, therefore, have to identify themselves as posters to these boards, perhaps by having their board posting names on their lapels. A source of interest and probably humour for others no doubt.
